So I got the Btwice flyweel kit and started to fit it but stumbled on two issues: 1) while nice kit there are no fixing bolts included (kit only comes with the weight and the cranckase extender shim) 2) Original gear shifter doesn't fit with extended crankcase size (it's against the magneto door and you can only shift downwards, upward's it's stuck against the door) How did you overcome those two issues: What bolts did you use to fix the weight on magneto w/o it going out of balance? Did you have to remove the magneto to fix it (manual states some special tool needed for this, can it be done without the special tool?) …

As the heading says looks like we are not allowed to pass comment on ex works bikes on Trials Central anymore? I think people were only trying to protect other Trials Central members. Thought i would just make the point before this post gets deleted as the others were. Free speach, within the boundaries of the law used to be allowed on here. Then again it's not my site so what Andy decides is Andies perogative and i have to respect that and i do. Perhaps we could have an outline of what we are and are not allowed to discuss?

Anybody else having troubles with your lights? My front light lasted about 20 minuets , the rear about 2 hours. They will both flicker on occasionally , it's in the LED it's self , power at the plug is steady. Have they fixed/updated them ?

I'm pretty new to trials and fancy a newer bike. I really wanted a 4 stroke Beta but I just can't find one. I'm now looking at 2 strokes again. I've come across a 2013 TR280i but know nothing about them. I wouldn't even know how to identify it as a 2013 model? What's a good price for one of these and what should I be looking out for? Hi all - yup, me again I just got my petrol tank back from the painters - and its oh SO nice! What a lovely paint job. The paint shop is in Ware, East Herts if you want anything painting. It's a great place :-) Anyway, I have the rubbers for the frame lugs that the front of the tank rests on, but what's at the other end? There is a rounded bracket at the back of the tank that seems to sit snug on the top frame tube, but should there be something under this? Is there supposed to be a rubber or something under the tank? Should finally have it running and fired up this week - for the first time in over 16 years. Yay! :-) Adrian

Have been thinking about buying an Ossa around the 75/76 age to compete in the Pre 77/80 class in France and Spain. Could any of the officionardos of the Marque point me in the direction of what to look out for and any sensible things/mods needed to bring it more up to date. Not interested in making it something its not..... just want it to run and ride as well as it can. Thanks in advance.

The big bloak I am - 250lbs. The shop in the US only has a 250i left available for 2015. Coming off a 2012 280i; should I have a concern with the new bike being under powered? My current track/ trail bikes are a 2012 300xc and a 2015 350exc six days. Lewisport says the power loss is minimal and most riders over seas prefer the 250's? Any experience with both the 250i and 280i power performance/ comparison would be greatly appreciated!!

I recently heard from a friend who said he heard from a reputable source that OSAA is going out of business. Story is that GasGas had purchased Ossa some time ago and had been having trouble. They can not afford to save both brands. Anyone have any info on this? I LOVE my Ossa and can't imaging anyone letting all the R&D that went into creating this fine machine go to waste! If it happens, what about parts, re-sale value, etc. Input?

I heard a rumor at a trials meet last weekend that KTM may be having a look at buying OSSA, can anyone confirm? I'd sure like to see them stay alive.

Hi, Does anyone have a recomendation for Black Exhaust paint for the middle box and silencer on a MAR, most of the exhausts paints seem to be Matt and I was trying to match the original gloss

Anyone know what TPS the OSSA uses? It is only sold with throttle body- might be nice to have another for spare and testing. Mark

I need some thinner steel wear disks for my OSSA 2013 factory 300 to get the thickness down for an easier clutch pull. If I can't find thinner plates for the OSSA clutch are they the same as a GASGAS clutch? If so what bike? I wanted one of those cool XIU adjustable rings but can not find them in stock anywhere. This leads me to another question would the XIU ring for the Gas Gas work in an OSSA? Tnx.

They may yet tempt me off my Raga. Bill rides the OSSA as his daily practice and competition bike. I have nothing but the best to say about Bill's commitment to the bikes he has sold (Gas Gas, OSSA and Beta), to the buyers/riders and to both the practice and competition aspects of the sport. Based on my experience and interactions with Bill I expect that his closer involvement now…

So there was I thinking this makeover on the bike would be a 2 minute job . Long story short ... Eventually decided that I wanted to put a factory sticker kit on my bike and do the frame white so ordered the sticker kit through my local dealer. He was told it would be here in a week ( which ends today ). I get a call from him this morning saying that they are no longer available?? How can a sticker kit from last years bike not still be available. I do have a 2014 tr280 sticker kit here but wanted something a bit different. Frame is lying bare and ready to be powder coated Is there a 2014 factory kit? Anyone post a pic?

Hi, hope someone can help. I'm about to put the tyres on my '75 mk2 mar. There are 3 holes in the rim, one for the tyre retainer, one for the valve and the other one??? I only took one retainer off so am stuck as to what the third is for, any suggestions? Cheers, Nigel.
