  1. No pre-unit class and even if there was sections that need the use of clutch and modern riding are killing 'Classic Trials'. Looks just like a copy of Kia series. Not for me and my Ariel :-(
  2. You are right. The good news is they are still about. Another example are the good people who do the same thing through the night for the MCC Exeter trial in the village hall at the foot of Simms. Always end up buying more cakes and coffee to support them and then my excuse if I fail Simms !!
  3. Andy, Give Mark Cook at CCM Britain / PES a call as we have them on classic CCM's. Come in three lengths.

  5. There is a firm who do metal spraying and have done many Bultaco hubs. Ask Tim Brittan at Classic Dirt Bike magazine ( on Facebook or google ) as he did a feature on them and uses them himself.
  6. I would also like to know the answer to Ken's question.
  7. Would stay with the BSA engine. Give Roger Taylor, RTS a call as he can sort and improve it.
  8. May be worth contacting Martin Matthews at www.MotoSWM.com
  9. My son and I ride Classic events in the South West. Great to see lads with Dads ( come on Mums !! ) We would not have time to travel around the country to ride that series and may be wrong standard of sections for us.
  10. Did you have the right pair of glasses on Jon.

    Swm Rear Silencer.

Contact Martin at WWW.MotoSWM.COM Well worth a chat as he has both this type and after market kit.
  12. Your best bet is to message Martin at www.motoswm.com he will be able to help with anything SWM
  13. My son still rides the BSA Bantam he started on. Got him started at 13 with the excellent Somerton Classic Club beginners series. Now 16 he still rides the same bike on A route in Somerton and Bath Classic trials. A Bantam or C15 do not need to cost the earth. A great way to learn and have great fun.
  14. Your best bet is to contact Martin, who will know the answer and can sort your spares for almost anything SWM www.motoswm.com
  15. Just seen Youtube film from last nights Sheffield indoor stunt trial. The question is does this do anything for UK bike buyers ? If you had film of one of these great riders up on the Mendip Hills at Lambs Liar in the mud and they find grip and the mud does not clog the bike solid, that would be a better sales pitch. Or do we just look at events like Sheffield as a pure show of trick and stunt riding which has nothing to do with UK's normal trials events or riders ?
  16. To replace worn carb and if I can get extra from it, then bonus.
  17. What is the best bolt on replacement carb for a standard TY175 ?
  18. Joners has a number of interesting bikes and all beautiful.
  19. Any know where to get them ?
  20. No trials - this is just one day to remember them and what they did for us. Agree you have 51 other Sundays and 52 Saturdays to play.
  21. As the rider of classic bikes only, I am interested in these comments about 4 stoke grip. Would some of you modern riders be so kind and tell me why there is such a issue with modern 4 strokes ?
  22. Would just like to record my thanks to Dean and all his band of helpers, for a great year of trials. There are many people who help set out, take entries, post results and the many observers, no trials without you all - Thank you. Keep up the good work.
  23. You must also work hard at keeping the right fluid levels - Just as well I live in the home of Cider, Somerset
  24. Nice looking play ground. Wish there were more of them.
  25. Agree with Jon. Ring Talon, always very helpful.
