Supposedly trailing your leg into a corner lowers/alters the centre of gravity, this and the effect of a wind brake lets the bike turn easier. Or so I believe!!!

Yes, the 2012 kickstart was a pain, thankfully the 13 is back to the original size. Any other year will fit.

No, no more than any other big trial. The odd section caused a build up but some days hardly more than the odd 3-4 riders max.Few pics from the trial, thanks to Dave Pickles for some of them.
Yes, I believe day was tried as an experiment, didn't really work IMO.Sections were good, lots of rock outcrops and even mountain streams. Only six on the first da,y though they all had to be ridden blind, no looking! All other days were around 25 to 30 with 36 on the Sunday. Mileage 50 to 60 km each day, mainly off road.
