  1. The Xiu fingers are a drop in replacement. You don't need to do anything to them.
  2. Giving your trials bike to random people is a little like handing someone with zero firearms experience a loaded weapon and telling them to have at it. I'm amazed she stayed on it.
  3. How many links is the 2019 chain? EDIT: nevermind, found it... 100 links. I think I've more or less come to terms with the pre-2019 gearing, so going from 3.8 to 3.9 should be a little better.
  4. I think there's been a general degree of unhappiness with and friction between sport 7 and local organizations. I'm not all that surprised they're done.
  5. They beefed them up for 2018 with an added piece metal welded to the bottom of the bottom bracket.
  6. It's not a street bike. It's a TRRS One with a seat and tank.
  7. As above... I think what everyone missed last year while going spastic over the whole Grattarola, Martyn kerfuffle was the fact that you actually had two riders fighting for a title right up to the last round.
  8. Had someone local with a similar problem I think, turned out to be ignition. If you could swap with someone that would be the cheapest way to confirm.
  9. Yes, I have one on all my bikes. I use it to keep track of oil change intervals and more generally other major maintenance like fork oil and linkage.

    2019 RR Vs One

The RR comes with S3 curve pegs. You can just swap them out if you're not a fan.

    Lanyard Fix

I do exactly the same. Have since the first time I lost one of the little buggers. Haven't had an issue since.
  12. What do you need to know? It takes about 38 seconds. Just find a good place to mount the meter, trim the wire to length, keeping in mind you need to wrap it around the spark plug/HT lead about 5 or 6 times (see the instructions on the meter). Some electrical tape around the wire finishes the job.
  13. He lives in Michigan. Comparing winter in Michigan to winter in Yorkshire is like comparing summer in the south of France with summer in Aberdeen. The average low in Detriot in January is -8C, but as you know it gets pretty cold in Yorkshire as well. The problem is more the million feet of accumulated snowfall and the unceasing wind. You have fun outside if you want, I'll pass.
  14. If your 260 was made within the last decade, the shock isn't the issue.
  15. You missed my point. He said 'almost'. Which leaves me confused as to the situation.
  16. "just give your opinion and do not stress me out how wrong I am when im just trying to help the new guys" So I should provide an opinion, on the condition it re-affirms what you already think? Awesome. LOL
  17. What is 'almost' pinging? If it knocks, turn the airscrew in a half turn, adjust the idle to compensate, and see how it goes.
  18. They all have quirks. Beta sells plenty of bikes every year, if it was an issue for all of them they wouldn't still be in business.
  19. That hose clamp isn't doing you any favors. It's bunching up the boot, which is going to kill any seal, and it's also got perforations which are going to cut into the boot. Clean the carb, inspect boot for damage, use the stock clamp, clean air filter, grease the filter sealing surface lightly with silicone grease, check for air leaks around the boot with WD-40.
  20. If you're talking about the exhaust header bolts, you don't need any special tools other than a T handle allen wrench (https://goo.gl/My8jQq). Just turn the front wheel to the left or right to get it out of the way.
  21. Let me ask it a different way: how does winning a T2 championship, defending it for a year, then going to GP not progress his career? I'd argue it progresses it more than going straight to GP now, finishing 10th on good day, and mentally taking a beating for the next 4 years. I'm not cynical enough to think that Beta is treating this purely as a money grab. Obviously money factors into things, but since Beta already field Dabil and Caby, they're invested in the logistics of moving bikes/parts/people/etc around the world. All they'd really be paying is airfare and lodging for one more rider if Toby got tossed in, so again, I don't think the expense is a big consideration.
  22. Because they'd rather see him win a T2 championship at the world level while he continues to progress? You guys need to stop seeing T2 as a necessary evil on the way to GP and instead as a worthwhile championship to win in its own right.
