  1. I didn't point out the gay thing, I just pointed out that you must be a sensitive soul as you went back to edit your posts.
  2. All very clever Big John but can you name all the locations?
  3. I've heard that was far too technical for some entrants in previous years.
  4. You must have touched him on a sore spot K, enough for him to go back & alter the wording of his posts
  5. I think that is part of history now, the importer / dealer thing must be nearing the end of it's course as there isn't room for both. Who'll be the first importer brave or desperate enough to sell them out of the front door as well as the back?
  6. I've ridden a Mont for 2 years now & in my opinion it's the only 4 stroke worth having, 2007 bikes onwards are more rider friendly straight out of the box. As for changing over, I'd say they'll get you the same results as a 2 stroke just it'll happen in a different way. Difficult to explain but I'd say I clean more stuff on the Mont but when it goes wrong it tends to be a five.
  7. You don't need that this time as lunch is part of the entry.
  8. So at this rate you're going have 100 payments with no link to the sender, I can the stress levels in Fife reaching new heights.

    Help Needed

smalley is 100% correct, it's got far too much get up & go for a new starter.
  10. Well said, I fear batunball is one of those that think Trials happen as if by magic & hasn't the first idea as to the amount of graft that goes in to give folk their 15 quids worth of fun on a Sunday.
  11. Ride the easy route as the hard course will most likely be too trick & too big for you. It's a waste of time doing stuff that's way beyond you as it doesn't get you fit, only frustrated. Novices ride the hard route in Yorkshire Centre gradings & I haven't been good enough or daft enough to do that for the last 8 or 9 years. We're running a 2 laps of a decent ride round on the 20th, go to RMC website for regs as it's a pre enter event with a limit on it, ride the green course. On the 27th go to the Westmorland Trial as I understand it's a good ride round, again pre enter with details front page on TC. Although Stocksbridge will be nearer for you.
  12. wot? no sweary words?
  13. You're really missing live chat aren't you? Do you think you'd still dare do a lap or two of't black jumps round Ayr?
  14. Have a ride over to Gas Gas as they sell them. I've both helmets & they're the same size just the Airoh is a much better fit / helmet.
  15. add a bit of a beard to them crayzee eybrows & she'd fancy you
  16. From what I've heard he'd do well to pull something that good looking.
  17. I can highly recommend staying at the Cruachan as it's the best hotel in town.
  18. Cota kid has one on order as he needs on the add to is collection.
  19. I scrounge tyres of Dabster, he only uses then once each side & chucks 'em. Between marking out & practicing it'd cost me a fortune in tyres if I kept buying new ones. I like a Dunlop for all the road work Scott day & Michelins the rest of the time, I need a fresh one just now as I skipped the old one because it kept falling off the rim. So if anybody has any half worn tyres they don't want just PM me.
  20. Why not? If the guy just wants a decent tyre without any rips or tears in it what's the problem? I'll ride a tyre until it's completely shagged, a bit of wear doesn't matter a jot & so long as it'll stop on the rim I'll keep using it. I suggest you try a local dealer, he may have a half decent one he'd give you.
  21. Yes he did, here's one. Please note that no Dabsters were hurt during the taking of this photograph.
  22. Simple answer is, we don't. As far as I know the ACU fund the UK team, as to what is provided financially I've no idea.
  23. Just had a call from Munch, he's at Dabster Towers to programme the 4rt. Dabster is currently doing the large sections he's built in his garden.....in the dark.
