Taming a 300??
Generally, gearing up (Larger countershaft or smaller rear) does not help on a 300, in fact it makes it worse because they got so much torque....and stuff just happens faster. There is always the large bore stickers on a smaller cc machine option...for visual appeal when transporting through town??

New to me 12' sherco. Not in love with the formula controls, options?
Guys at Splatshop are very knowledgeable in the ways of the Sherco, might be able to shed some light on your parts conversion...

Another possible option is check classified for a dead Sherco to buy for a parts donor. One other thing to be aware of is Sherco's up till 2010/11ish used a clutch master cylinder with a different pivot point to make lever pull a little easier, they look just like any other AJP (lever is also different).

OSSA parts and Support
Most anything can be patched up if enough resources are thrown at it, but cost can outweigh the return. I see the ex-importer Birketts in uk advertises that they still have some parts..

OSSA parts and Support
Ouch, that was not very nice. Do not mean to hurt any ones feeling at all. My friend has one since new and he liked it when it ..worked.. but has had a LOT of issues with it and its a pain to source parts for ( its parked in storage because its unsaleable and replaced with a different brand of bikes). Not all Ossa stories are great and offerings from many can only help with Evoaliens research on the topic. Good luck.

OSSA parts and Support
Mecatecno has their full size electric model, the dragonfly which is pretty much an Ossa TR without the petrol engine...Would'nt hold my breath waiting for them to come back any time soon...

4rt wont start
Dont know if it works , I heard some 4RT owners in cold climates install knitted ''Tea cozies'' on the cylinder/head to aid cold starting... Good to hear you got sorted, Keep your feet on the pegs

Forking seals!
Pretty hard to beat the SKF, seem pricey but kit includes stainless clip, Wiper seal and oil seal.
-
4rt wont start
Did the folks at the shop show you that the 4rt is not designed to be kicked over too fast...more of a steady push through with kick lever, booting it over too fast.. just does not work.

4rt wont start
Just to clarify.. Is this a new bike or new-demo bike that you got from the shop?

Kickstarter Pinion gear Broken
Lots of Beta owners around here and several Rev4s now and past, never heard of issues like this. Just a thought here, no offence or finger pointing intended: Do you stab at your kick lever before letting them ''Mesh together'' completely? This method is big killer of any kickstart assembly, especially the cogs in a light weight trials motor. Hope you can get sorted soon and back on the pegs.

Kickstarter Pinion gear Broken
Maybe you can shoehorn a cr500 motor into the Rev4 frame....then your off to the races

101 link chain

Auxiliary fuel tank
Not trying to be insulting to any owners of '10-'15 Sherco owners....but this fuel hose labyrinth model is famous for issues already..adding yet more hose etc would just compound potential...problems....Maybe use the Aux tank as the main, gravity feeding the carb and have the original tank pump contents to Aux, with overflow line back to said original...eliminating restrictor valves, ''tee's'' and other configuration issues of original set ups

Cabestany to Beta
Great to see Cabestany still in the mix, great pilot....kinda surprised to see him, Paxau and rest of Sherco originals leave or get purged from company circle. Was there some new partner or financial support that moved in over there that kicked the table??

I've got a smelly helmet
Its also a good idea to not leave it laying on the floor or ground if there are dogs present..

Sidi zero or courier?
The Courier..a.k.a Discovery is the same sole as the Zero, but they screwed on a metal toe cap (which can be removed if so desired). They are water resistant and have extra foot lever pads added....good boot...I hear they are now discontinued...

Ossa TR280i ?? thoughts
You know what I heard?...''.Ossa's rarely need parts''...I think you should go for it.......

Sherco bikes of the last 10 years;
One other thing to be aware of...(not Sherco specific) some of the newer bikes rear rim can only fit certain brand tire due to sizing issues RYP has a good video clip on how to ''properly'' wrap several layers of aluminum tape around the rim to get tires to fit successfully....You can find subject threads on this site
