  1. Visually, looks like just ''Bold new graphics''. Waiting to see if they bumped Displacement by 10cc. It does look sharp.
  2. Not sure if it would seal around the threads good enough..but how about one of those rubber expandable frost plugs, they come in different sizes?? May leak around threads enough to vent if not over torqued ?
  3. my Sidi Zero's and Gaerne Balance oiled are both 43's and fit nicely
  4. Pretty sure you will have to bore the cases to fit that cylinder kit
  5. Not trying to add more non-problems to your ''check out ''list, but make sure your fuel delivery hoses/ routing/pump is not causing your issues. Sherco did do some updates on later models because of fueling issues on that generation sherco..Splatshop had some relevant info on wsite. good luck
  6. The 28mm carb that Craig has is most likely the Dellorto VHST 28. It was the carb Sherco was using as its performance option during those years...Some years of those rear fuel tank models had intake manifold leakage/warp problems. The carbs were on quite an angle too, so the float levels need to be set accordingly to minimize flooding and rich fueling conditions...especially on down hills. Hope you get it sorted soon☺️
  7. Nice job on the clutch fix, dog. Looks like your countershaft sprocket is in pretty nasty shape. ride on!
  8. Bolt torque charts are usually for dry threads unless stated. If your using Loctite locker....I believe they recommend reducing the torque by 20%
  9. Its a Mikuni bsr, which is also used on some Yamaha atv's and some dual sport bikes ,so your local yamaha dealer or any other decently stocked shop should be able to help you out. ☺️
  10. Simplest I found is, just partially start bolt into swing arm location with the spring unattached to the tensioner arm (dont overtighten) .Now bend a tight small hook into a piece of welding rod or similar material and a larger loop grippable handle bend on other end. With this, if configured appropriately, you will see that you can now reach in and hook the tensioner arm end of the spring and and attach it , then finish torquing the pivot bolt . Pretty straight forward as you should find as your looking at what needs to be accomplished. Hope this helps you.
  11. I would think it is for financial reasons and durability. Did you try contact your local dealer and ask them?
  12. Seems like normal function by watching your clip there. The kickstart ratchet gear has a small ramp on it that slides in behind a metal tab and the casting is usually not very smooth and your bike is brand new. Try let your kick lever snap back on its own with the spring loaded...will loosen up with some use. :)
  13. I would guess its a lower grade Ti and not too critical as to what to use. Maybe try contact S3 ?? Good luck
  14. Knock the burrs off with a file? I would be more worried about the damage your coil is taking, the bottom mount in the rubber is already bent as well?
  15. This does indeed work on the Sherco too...but make sure all air is out of hydraulics and optimum free-play is adjusted out of the hand lever first and then you should find it is not generally necessary
  16. Sorry to say, no. The 2006 fuel tank is not a direct fit to the 2004, a 2005 will fit as its the last year of that generation..
  17. Probably best to just purchase an aluminum cover for a standard model...I do wonder if this case is this bad, how do the others look? Good luck
  18. I am guessing your bike is a Raga version with the Magnesium cases. Magnesium is Very susceptible to corrosion when conditions are right...or I should say, wrong.
  19. Its gotten awfully quite..How are the new owners enjoying the tenaciwongs, all smiles still, any problems?
  20. I find my bikes do need the half link to fit correctly and have never had a problem sourcing chain from a sherco dealer with the the half link pre-riveted into the loop. If you wish to omit the 1/2 link and your chainring is worn you could always resize by one tooth in either direction

Its all good, lets just be so very very Thankful that the bikes do not come with the Horrid Formula hydraulics any more. (insert vomiting emoji here)

Agreed, Anyone else notice Bou and I think Fuji, both run the old tried and true AJP front calipers and not the newer''Breaktec''??
  23. Really...Is this a serious post?
