Agreed. Think I said that several posts ago, but apparently it's not a complicated enough answer. This post, and answers, demonstrate the real problem with trials.......
-
Can you swap the cdi for a known good one ? Sounds like a failing capacitor.
-
Trails established by feet / cattle / bikes or whatever, act as fire breaks. Fire damage has increased apparently without paths, not good for wild life either ?
-
Don't take full fuel cans onto the ferry, if they're spotted you will have to dispose of it.
-
Too much of a risk to his reputation ?
-
Why wouldn't someone of Bou's ability not ride the scott or ssdt ?
-
If I'd totally dominated a sport for more than a decade, I'd have looked for new challenges long ago !
-
? what does Factory Kev know anyway ..........
-
Not really a comparison, unless you said everybody was running in army boots ? and Bolt /Bou would still win. However, they wouldn't be throwing themselves up 12' high steps with a less gripping tyre.
-
It's even more unfair to stop and get a clean, compared to riding no stop.
-
I can watch Andora and trials like highland 2 day all day, hardly ever any world rounds. I find the "minders" scurrying around bizarre.
-
Maybe we need an observer's boycott for behaviour such as above.
-
There's usually a pinhole for expansion / contraction.
-
Drop the primary oil out and run it, won't do clutch etc any harm. See how it runs / smokes.
-
What ratio, 25 : 1 ? If substantially less I'd be checking gear box oil. Does it smell like 2 stroke ?
-
-
Rubbish, explain religion then ?
-
Take or leave advice, but at least have the courtesy to acknowledge it.
-
What carb ? Sounds typical of an air screw Dellorto ?

Gearing is virtually identical, just achieved in a different combination. Run it till it needs replaced, then go for standard as is easier on chain as stated above.
-
All the way in and back out a few turns, then with cover off, clutch in. Kick it over and check plate is parallel with basket. Adjust till it is. Mine was wired.
