A bit like using a Suzuki piston and a fantic clutch and cylinder head on bantam ..... ?
  9. 13/53 = 4.07:1. 12/48 = 4.0:1. Virtually the same. Nothing wrong with good quality 428 chain, more than capable of handling the power / weight.

Not sure if I'm typing in invisible ink ? From a safety point of view get an mot. J Bliss creations can be seen as un-sporting if entered against pre 65 / twin shocks. Excluded on these grounds ?
  15. If you had the operation back to front it still shouldn't start, i.e. no choke. Try another carb.

The majority of twin shocks and pre65's probably fall into this category, New heard of one being checked. If you want to cover your posterior get it mot'ed, can be done on frame number if no v5.
  17. Shouldn't start from cold without choke, what does the plug look like ?

Take a bit of breaking in, good boots do ? Fine after a couple of hours. Never felt pegs, but mine are not the bed of nails type.

Been wearing sidi zero one for a couple of years, very hard wearing, not waterproof, but most importantly, offer the same protection even when saturated. All leather boots I've had in the past become very soft when wet. In most makes I go up one size for sealskins etc, up two sizes for sidi.
  23. Anyone know how the weights compare, and how much less friction ?
  24. Jimmy Saviles last request for his ashes was to be put into an etch a sketch so that kids can continue to fiddle with his knob.
