You've never been to the polish round then? Japan has been pretty muddy in recent years. Italy always go through water. Spains rounds in baoina and certainly the portugese rounds have mud. One of the sections in La Bresse was very similar to what we have here in the south. Pasquet didnt put pressure on? The continental riders find the concept of no-stop difficult to fathom so 6 days riding up to 100miles is not on their bucket list, is my guess. Also as the wtc has started most would not want to loose nearly two weeks practice I would guess.

we come from the south midland centre where we all used to take 20mm off the overall width to get between trees, helped, so sure it will make no difference if you feel more comfortable go for it.

novagar, or s3 as it is now, hard course in parts. with only one route they needed it tougher than before, as steve above i did it in 08 and with a choice of routes its very good, now not so sure if you arent a very good centre expert.

You've missed the 2012 event its always at easter. I rode in 2011 when they changed to one route and no stop which wasnt as good as in previous years imho. Good ride round but if youve not been to Sardent I would try that first. depends on your level of ability probably.

5 will be fine maybe 5.5 if its rocky, I run 4.5 and weigh more. Front 6 is good, 8 or 10 waaayyy too much.

The 199 has the advantage of the combined air filter and worked real well. Vesty changed his but that was for different reasons.

Having seen Raga riding and practising in the wtc in recent years I would say he is riding as well as he ever has. Each year the trials get harder and he consistently has been second for the last five years. Had it not been for the emergence of Bou he would have won plenty of titles.
