  1. Try this saying, Smaller is easier to ride.
  2. oh dear.
  3. not many in your position.
  4. oni nou mostly talks too much but what he says above rings true to me.
  5. probably. if you ride in rmc trials you are welcome to try my 250
  6. i did exactly a similar thing except long pipe and white tube then was told by a blunt yorkshireman that trying to make it into a 250 was daft, and to start from that. black tubes are no help if you need a big handful and if you dont why a 300?
  7. its not an upgrade at all. If you are finding the pwer too much chop it in and get a 250. the disadvantage with a weight is that it allows the motor to run on which for a less than expert rider in such a pwerful motor can cause more trouble than you think it does. Exception is possibly in muddy southern trials it can help with traction.
  8. it was on here somwhere im sure
  9. we put a 125 frame next to a 325 and its smaller and lighter
  10. is it just the 125 frame thats smaller @woody?
  11. short trails or spare batteries.
  12. tapping down from second can work too
  13. change the oil if its sticking. they used to do this when left for a couple of weeks.
  14. Id say you like beer too Mark?
  15. very very unlikely. i too have a puima, nice to ride.
  16. A 4rt is a bit of a marmite bike. Certainly not heavy till you get in trouble then feels like its fitting you, takes a while to master them in mud too, imho.
  17. I prefer a 250, and a gas gas.
  18. Very very good on the bike i tried.
  19. the dellorto is a great carb so on an 03 it should be fine. Strip it and make sure the banjo is clean and floats are set at 18.5
  20. i would stick with the falcons as they are excellent, and even if youre just riding for fun its nice to have good shocks on a twinshock.
  21. check float level too.
  22. That is the reason. I like andy have been to a few in the past and im struggling to think of a WTC that WASN'T supported by some local or regional authority. The round in Fort William was there specifically because of the tourist board support?
  23. please come in here every year for the next ten and prove your rose tinted prediction is correct. Im hoping your joking?
  24. moisture in kehin can make it stick. in line filter?
  25. flywheel weight will make it run on, i think this can be a disadvatage for a novice.
