  1. wish i could go riding every thursday. excellent pics of an excellent rider if ross don't mind me saying
  2. They can source the motor from Xispa. I was thinking the same,i expect Xispa could supply ccm with a frame aswell if they asked nicely. it does look very honda crf in its appearance.
  3. although i'm only 5.11 i felt the handlebars on my former gas gas and scorpa were a little low so i raised they by about an inch. If you find you stoop over the bars then try raising them like i did but don't over do it with spaces (raisers) or you'll end up with a set of bars which are like a high rise block and then liable to snap - be sensible thats all i'm saying.
  4. excellent news well done
  5. looks better than heath's xispa beta clone. :lol:how did know they were going white this year?
  6. Sorry Spud, only just spotted your question. It's a really hard one to answer. If you remember the very first section in the Forest Trophy (we normally cal lthe dragons teeth) up the waterfall. The section that the experts rode there would be close to the Novogar section. They start lower down the stream, then continue through the yellow route. Most of the sections are around the level of the expert/inter route in the Forest Trophy Trial as the Forest Trophy tends to be slightly easier than our usual club trials due to the length of it. I've been trying to persuade Mr Beardsall to have a ride, but not sure if he's up for it this year or not. He maybe doesn't ride often enough these days? Ian may give you a better idea of how he thinks you'd get on. I get the feeling from your banter that you seem to be of similar level, but looks like you may have been a fair bit ahead of him in the Forest Trophy. It certainly wouldn't be an easy day. It's always a tough one to define the level of a clubman championship. Our sections tend to be roughly the same level all the way round, with three or four tougher ones to take marks off the top boys. That can make it a hard day out if you're just below the level of the sections - takes its toll on the arms. However, I've ridden some Novogar rounds where I have struggled (on times really struggled) where some of the sections I couldn't see a way through for my level of rider, but I look at most of our sections as possible cleans if I have a good ride. Not sure if I've helped you too much but I'll stop rattling on and hope that Atomant can give you some guidance :-) Thanks. If Ian said he's riding i will. The Inter sections at the Forest required some hopping (i see guys hopping) and were at times looking a bit challenging. However ,if you can get Ian to ride then i would because atleast i wouldn't be last
  7. I lost approx 15-marks at the Forest Trophy on novice/clubman route. Do you think i would be able to ride your trial and what score i'd post?

    Any News ?

Thats a very nice looking little bike if they kept the 250cc+ looking the same i reckon they could be onto a winner
  9. R.V question: faced with a nasty 6 foot climb your not keen on do ride it and hope you make it, or do put one foot on the ground and then stretch your other to the top of the climb like Mr Fantastic from the fantastic four film and lift the bike up taking a two?
  10. I'm tempted to say 'dicking about' are not the right words perhaps a better word could be 'personalising' although who am i to say. So its over to E.R to answer, are you doing Dicking or Personalising? .....(just thought i'd mention for the record I've nothing against anyone who is into dicking, or who likes the colour pink B.
  11. i heard he was crying with joy and got so emotional he lost his way in a sea of tears
  12. I've seen a woodland land i'm thinking of buying. The sporting rights are included in the sale, so i'm assuming i can ride my bike on the land without any legal problems? The land has road access and is away from houses etc... What I'd like to know is what can i do in the way of modifying the land with a digger and building sections. The land appears flat from an ordance survey map. If there were to be issues with digging the land up are there any ways ( PM me privately) in which the local council might agree, ie; allowing the local boy scouts, girl guides to have summer camps, or allow horse riding? cliff
  13. Thanks Kirsty, i do truely understand your concerns and am I'm now more fully in the picture with your trial, will see you next year.
  14. I think I remember seeing on the clubs website the sections had already been laid out for the trial (?). There is a couple of days left before Sunday, perhaps there could be a change to this cancellation, but would need for the farmers to give it the green light. Does the club know the restrictions have been lifted, or better still could someone close to the clubs committee mention this?
  15. Its gonna be one hell of a party for 2008
  16. I'm up for organising something for the next British Junior World Champion ... how about i supply the mini sausage rolls and tuna sandwich's? . ....Seriously, 2008 if RD wins or even comes second to AW, Trials Central will have NO option but to organise a party.
  17. This is a double blow for me, firstly i was so looking forward to this trial and secondly atomant has been let off the bet 'who is the better rider' jammy sod. Thanks to the shropshire mcc for the call today saying the trial is cancelled. if anyone from the club is reading this you can keep my entry payment i'll be riding next year. cliff barnett does anyone have any recommendations for events in and around wales, telford, sheffield that cator for a adult clubman class, this is anytime?
  18. Talking (for somereason) of mild summers, I do hope that doesn't mean another 42 days of persistant rain! perhaps the number 42 is the number 5's he's had in a single trial

Heath, is that your GSXR in the back ground?
  20. Graham is great guy and what a blinder of a ride I only wish I could have been there. If I had the money and knew of people who have a passion for our sport like I do, but have been are little more fortunate than me with money owning a company or having a little extra cash wouldn't/shouldn
  21. couldn't agree with you more, but as for the commentry i wasn't there. Alexz is worth a mention he is still riding a 125cc machine (?) if he is that's an amazing ride from a very likable young guy. Ross also rode well and Lee. Jarvis had a great ride, but Dabill i was expecting a bit more.
  22. Will anyone be posting a full list of finishers results and if possible section by section?
  23. really really gutted i can't be there, any news on Dougie and the british lads? whats heath's and barry's cooking like, or should i say is there any food left heath is not a small boy Fairy Lights!! so whos the fairy?.
