    Sam And Gg

Sam would be very good choice to succeed Steve Colley if this were part of John's intentions. Sam riding the Gas Gas is great news- Browny, Javis, Dabill and all the top riders will need to keep an eye on this rider. Well Done Sam and John.
  3. My son has been on at me since October to get him a bloody bike I was thinking about the pw50 or even an lt50 quad off ebay, but the problem with them is they 're petrol engines and where i live its a concrete jungle. Added to this the only areas for the local kids are recreation grounds and my thinking an electric bike might be acceptable at the recreation grounds the general public and dog walkers alike use when he'll be visually looking more like a cyclist than motorcyclist donning bicycle protective gear, and i might even attached BIG TED to the handlebars. Anyway, after all his nagging a 16inch Oset has just arrived. I'm not unpacking it until christmas day because he also likes to build/put things together and part of this (motorbike) experience will be to build the bike with me. He will be 5yrs old next february and perhaps this will get him off my case and off bikes or end this constant moaning. I know this is a little selfish of me but if he looses interest then i'll get my riding back, if not i'm going to be doing a lot of walking and picking up of this bike. The Oset dealer said the bikes will be included in a new motor vehicle class in the ACU regs, anyone heard this? Should me son get the bike bug i maybe entering him in events around the country in the next year or some, it would be good to see how any of your kids are progressing and as my son becomes better i'll try and post some video's on here. So he's 5 next birthday, the question is what age will he be outriding dad? Just going back to the ACU and a trophy name of 'The ACU Youth Electric Bike Winner' sounds good, know doubt all pie in the sky from the Oset dealer this advice.
  4. What a fantastic idea for an engine could have only come from an expert like yourself and 'mums the word'
  5. I'd best not say a stupid smart-alec-comment because i think your capable of doing what your saying, so impress mate?
  6. 10,500 is very high reving coupled with 71kg and fuel injection its looking good, very good. Sorry Steve i can't find any info on the gear box. Gas Gas Pro's have always been good in the mud, there is no reason why this shouldn't. As for the side valve engine i'm of zero knowledge on how good or bad this design is and reading the other comments and looking at the cyclinder head in the photos shown i'm going to guess its 300cc+..... a dyno chart would be nice to end any speculation. Some questions anyone else might want to answer along with me 1) Componants quality, are they any better than there 2t range? My thoughts are yes because they don't want anotehr Sherco 4t. Would i buy the Gasser? yes but only if they ask me to pay no more than
  7. i enjoy shirty's reports even thou i'm not a gas gas owner. 4ourtea, we all entitled to an opionion i've read yours and guess what your a ****!!! Keep to riding the KTM i'm sure you can really push a 525cc to limit, mind you i bet you have a thing or too to say about why david knight is such a good rider, but then lets hope KTM don't say what a great rider he is. just one more thing 4ourtea "I am gay".
  8. why two road bikes barry?
  9. I couldn't get the tyre to sit so i've re-fitted the old one for tomorrows trial. I kind of understand what you've all said about when discribing the inner tude and beeder but i'm not 100% sure how they work.If you have a picture or step by step guide it would be really helpful. If its of interest i've fitted quite a few tyres but this one seems to be a right 'B'.
  10. Having a problem with fitting a new tyre Mich X11. The tyre is on the wheel but when i use the air line i can't get the tyre to sit on the rim of the wheel. The seating rim of the tyre are touching each other and well away from making the seal on the wheel rim. I've tried bouncing the wheel on the floor to push the tyre into place and even tried insultation tape to seal the tyre to the wheel but none of this is working - anyone got any ideas?
  11. This is a bit of the point of this thread and my apologises for this question. I have a 2004 CRF250X. To make the bike road legal i need a brake light and dipped beam (so i've been told). The bike has lights which appear to run of some kind on dynomo and theres a rear and front light which are constantly on when the bike is running but no brake light or dipped beam facilites. There is also no way of switching the lights off. Q: How would i wiring in a rear brake light and are there any kits. How do i get a dipped beam for the front light and again are there any electrical bolt on kits?....There is KM mileage meter can i replace this with a speedo from a trials bike?
  12. The Sidcup club have given prize money for a trial which is a little different from the norm in the south east trials scene (sidcup 30 trial). all i can say is if there is no major national trial on that weekend there can be riders riding who are of a very good calibre which i may only see at the sidcup 30 event. I think the prize money ranges from
  13. Colley The Icon for me. I've met him twice great guy and best of luck to him.
  14. might be a silly question but when, where and who?
  15. Pete, if you could keep me posted for next years event i bought myself a 2004 crf250x this week and am looking at venues like yours to ride it at. me bruv would be interested too. cliff barnett
  16. Yu skinny and ralphy is. the vocals when a flick turn manoeuvrers was not made "gay" i guess sort of links in with Addicts legs being noticed, can't say i heard you saying "gay" could only here admiration and gasp's "Wow Dad is Awesome, or Dad is the best ever rider" . great day enjoyed it lots and enjoyed yours, ralph's and addicts company banter was top quality. if your at a loose end on the 6th October pop down with Addict to Rotherfield, its a nice small venue your style of riding will suit the nature terrain. 14th October is the big day when the Legend, Addict, Atomant and Me ride the Kessex Cup at Crowborough - you'd make a very good Expert B poss have the win (serious)....thanks again for having me along look forward to our next ride out.
  17. Was a really good day. 6th October is down my neck of the woods there is a stream and so bikes and riders won't be looking as clean or shiny ....another picture of Addict
  18. Some photos taken by my Canon EOS 350D Riders: Addict, Ralph, Dad and me (spud)
  19. I forgot to ask, should i have a poo before the trial or after?
  20. I see this fat rider at a muddy trial some time back he plodding along a on Sherco doing really well. The bike had next to nothing suspension travel but this didn't appear to be a problem. In the mud he was really good and found lots of grip as a novice rider. My question is should i put weight because most sections in Kent are muddy? I like Mcdonalds and KFC and don't mind the odd pie, these outlets/foods are on my healthy food list so perhaps i should eat a lot more chocolate. I do my best to stay away from chocolate as i know your all going say that it is bad for me.
