Montesa HRC's 2007 team must be the strongest factory team, but arguably the Lampkin, Fujigas, Freixa team that finished 1 - 2 - 3 in 2003 was the best factory team ever, or was it?

Bear with me on this one... A while back, maybe in 07, we had a thread here about a section at a WTC RD that had a nasty climb up a rock ledge. The were gates about a 1/3 of the way up with more gates at the top. Most riders tried making the whole climb up until one rider saw a line that he could use to the side after he cleared the 1st gates. Someone even diagrramed the section here on TC. I think we even had a video. I was wondering if anyone recalls this thread...and can help me find it? Im sure if I knew the round I would be able to find it.

2008 Scott Trial- Takahisa Fujinami 4th (Winner Ian Austermuhle) 2010 Scottish 6 Day- Albert Cabestany 9th (Winner Alex Wigg) Proof (If needed) that current world trials are going in the wrong direction. OK Dougie would have won this years Scottish but you get my point. The above results are far more interesting than the current world trial results, and I bet the events are too. How about this for a world trial "Template" - 50 Sections - 50 Miles - 1 Lap - 4 Petrol Stops - 10 Miles / 10 Sections Between Stops - 5 Time Check's (4 Petrol Stops and the End) - No Minders - No Intercoms - No Outside Assistance, major parts of the bike marked OK I know Adam &…

Hello people, just wondering if any-one had any idea what time expect the indoor results tonight or if there is anywhere to see the first round scores. Its a shame Andy didn't have a buisness trip to attend to in Spain this weekend after the brilliant coverage of Sheffield him and r2wtrials gave us this year. Wouldn't it be great to see Dougie put one across Raga in his home land.

Link to video for TC Supporters now added to front page article. 20 mins of video from 5 different sections on Saturday. It's cost TC 500 Euros to get video rights to the WTC and I have to try and recoup that cost so I'm afraid it's Supporters-only for all video. Day 2 will be added shortly. EDIT: TC Advertisers/Sponsors. some of you don't have user accounts to see these. If you wish to, then contact me

Hi all! Couldn´t resist posting my own statistics. One way to rank the best rider is to count world titles and medals. #1. Bou, #2. Lampkin, #3Tarres and so on. We all now that these 3 are in a class of their own no question. Another way to rank riders is to look at their placings in the WCH (and ECH) throughout the years (giving them points for top 15 placings (20-17-15-...1) that favours a long succesful career. This is my list based on FIM results from website (although there might be minor errors in FIMs results).(Top 40 + some interesting names although the lower ranks have only been sorted on points). They use to have a list of most scored points but that one m…

Here is the Honda 2009 Motorcycle Racing Plan for Trials, no mention of Laia being the team; http://world.honda.com/news/2009/c090127Mo...e-Racing-Plans/ ♦ FIM World Trials Championship Series For the FIM World Trials Championship Series (WCT), Honda will run two Montesa COTA 4RTs equipped with highly competitive 4-stroke engines. I was lucky enough to get to watch the World Championship round at Tong last weekend with a couple of friends and can honestly say that in 40 years of watching all types of motorcycle sport it was the best I have ever seen. The things that Mr Bou, Raga and Dabill etc can do with a motorcycle defies belief....forget Rossi, Marquez and the like, in my opinion these guys are the true Heroes of powered two wheel sport.

Lots of bits an pieces been said on different threads about this years trial whats your overall thoughts about it now the dust has settled. I personally thought it was a great weekend. Mini masters trial very good made all the better by Amos and his antics. Sections on Sunday very good with severity about right (still amazed at what they do even after watching around 10 world rounds) viewing seemed better than last year (not sure why) deserving winner in Fuji seems like a genuine guy. Shame Doug couldnt get his 100th GP win couldnt quite seem to put in that one amazing ride to get the crowd really behind him like last year (it was a hard act to follow).

Does anybody have any details or experience of travelling to the Andorra roud of the world championship? I note that last year the trial was based in Sant Julia de Loria, whilst this year it is listed as La Rabassa, which I believe is just a few Km away. I'd be keen to know where is the best place to be based & what is the best airport to fly into. Many thanks
