I always enjoy JS Jnrs Gas Gas updates and was interested to read his comment about the WC riders are disillusioned and there will maybe only 10 riders next year. Would Jnr like to elaborate or can anyone else shed some light on this subject ? Stormy

Fujinami had engine trouble and stalled in section 8 on third loop Sunday. He instantly restarts his bike but gets a five for non-stop. This is why I don't like non-stop. NSFW in spanish. http://www.youtube.com/embed/BkIDwnZIKbw

It was inevitable that a Certain Mr Bou was going to be World Champion barring a disater and with number 6 in the bag any many would agree that number 7 will come next year equalling DL and JT's records. His threat the last 2 rounds have come from Cabby and Fuji (he has got to be thinking about retirement?) both have been World Champions and Raga and Fajardo banging in the odd result, but no other threat. You look further down the list and knowone can really say ''he will win in the future''? So how many can he win 7, 8, 9, 10...................... We were all happy when Doug was winning week in week out and total respect from Toni, but waiting for the results on a Sa…

Information released on Thursday by ACU "It is with regret that the ACU have to announce that the British Round of the FIM Trial GP scheduled for 9/10th October in Tong, will not now take place. An unfortunate combination of circumstances have led to this decision, but it is hoped that 2022 will allow for a round to be run once again." I wonder what the "unfortunate combination of circumstances" might have been? Is Covid still having an impact? In my opinion the wording used does not come across as very professional as one would expect there are plans B, C etc to cope with unexpected eventualities. Strangely the event still appears on the FIM trials calend…

I see from today's results that the FIM have enforced the minimum weight limit rule. So, did they catch some big budget factory team gaining an unfair advantage over less well funded riders? No, they disqualified a female riding an importer supplied production bike. Well done FIM!

According to the first pictures of the event on this website, the sections are all made on natural terrain, which is nice.

Any forum members going to this event? I'm looking forward to it. It's a shame though that it's on the same date as the 4 day trial De la Creuse in Sardent http://www.belgiumworldtrial.be/default.aspx Pré sale tickets: http://www.zonetrial.com/Articles.aspx?MarkSelected=A+BelgiumWorldTrial&topic=0

Its easy possibly to overlook Sam a little in the grand scheme of things at WTC level, but following on from the announcement in TMX I understand he is not going to do a full year at the WTC next year. He has given it his best shot tried to be as professional as possible and had some decent results and achieved a 12th overall position. OK with Doug he was never going to be the bestof British but he has done amazingly well and how many of us will never ever have got to anywhere like this grade even if we had done the same things. None is my guess. So a big well done and to achieve what he did is nothing to be less than very proud of. Good job!

With TMX saying that Freixa goes to Scorpa next year, that leaves Doug and Fuji at HRC mont. Now bit hypothetical I know but, big but, if you wanted to get the WTC championship back (assumes Raga wins aswell!) would you want the above mentioned or would the departure of one of DL or Fuji give funds to have say Bou and Fajardo for example. Again if doug goes where would he go to? Then theres Caby at Sherco he's done well and would a Fajardo or bou move be a good thing?

7 rounds for the WTC? F1 is trying to extend the championship and we are contracting... Has the world gone mad? I don't really know the rules but it seems to me that the current rules have bred a kind of super rider that 0.01% of us can aspire to... This WTC is so far removed from the grass roots of the sport. Myself as an also ran rode in the same trial as Bernie Schreiber in the 80's .. We could relate to the severity of the sections and fail suitably. These days we need to actually need to return to work after the weekend event. So why has the WTC come down to 7 rounds....I guess it's all about money..... So yes, the world has gone mad!!!!!

I have just been browsing through the Trial online site, and looking at the provisional entry list for France. According to the list there is no sign of Pat Smage! Is he missing this round?
