Entries are down in the World E bike category in the Holland World GP. Congratulatios are due to Albert Cabestaney who rode an excellent event. Anyway, there were bikes entered from three manufacturers. However none of those machine/makes are currently available to buy, even though two of them have been advertised with invitations to place an order for over a year. So the missing make is Electric Motion, which sell the only electric bikes on the trials market. Indeed EM has just announced their new 2020 range topped by the E Pure Race model which features both a full blown hydraulic clutch and a flywheel to match. The reluctance of EM to enter might, I suggest, be at le…

See both Miguel and Aniol are ‘parting ways’ with Vertigo. Strange one. Will they still do what’s in calendar for trial GP this year and on what? bad times!

So TC came up with the scope that Bou was, at the end of the season, joining Montesa HRC signing a 2 year contract. I'd heard sometime ago that Montesa were looking for a Spanish male rider to challenge for the WTC. To me Toni Bou is the obvious choice, young and talented. I personally think its a good move for Toni, Montesa HRC have unquestionably the best factory set up and the chance to be team mates with fujigas and Lampkin and the experience they bring will be if great benefit for his future asperations. In the past Doug predicted Bou as being a future World Champion, the reality of that just took a huge step forward.

Reading Dicko's page three blurb this week he goes on about how well off road riding is doing in the UK, and finishes the topic with a question, [is off road riding ready for the big time?] I don't now about the MX & Enduro scene, but from a trials point of view I think the events like the Scot and SSDT, and Brit national events are doing well run by the clubs! who are left alone to do what they think best for the event, on the other hand the events promoted by the big euro promoters in a way they know best, look to be doing p*** poor for entries and spectator participation. So in answer to the question is off road riding ready for the big time, I just hope the bi…

Having just seen the review these comments (not word perfect) had me sipping hard on me alcohol. 1) Gas Gas was lucky this year but will soon have to go 4t. 2) Mark Freixa's cards are marked; his performance is under close observation for the season ahead - possibly Bou or Fajardo to take over. 3) Cabestancy disappointed with his bike (comment i think was made on the third round) Antonio Bou's surname is it prenouced, "Boo" or "Bow"? Kenichi name pronunciation was a little dodge. I buy Duke because i like their product and because there is no alterative that i'm aware of? Overall a very good review, later commentary could be a little less monotone.

Hello! Anyone going to Spain or Andorra? I'll fly from Sweden on Friday. Looks like a good trial in Spain around a race course with decent walking distance between sections. Have anyone been in La Rabassa before? TJ

Just seen that Bou has resigned with Montesa for 2 more years. Does this mean they will be making a new bike? 2 stroke?? Or will they simply think 'he's winning on this, let's leave it'
