Does anyone know why the World Championship guys refer to their events as 'races'? I could understand the 'race' term being used in Time and Observation trials. +

im guessing its just me but nowadays im completeley unable to find a copy of tmx, i usually get it from our big tesco or asda but asda has stopped selling it and tesco only order 2 copies, sometimes theyre on the shelf on thursday afternoon but usually friday, so its hit and miss if your lucky enough to get one, i know whsmith will do them but it means driving and parking in town, i'm just wondering where everyone else gets it.

Hi All, I'm looking for some advice.My '06 scorpa's wheel rims are getting a bit tatty with the odd scratch. Any body know if they can be rubbed back, if so how? It's just the outside I'd like to rub back.

Trying to re-wire a bike with cdi ignition junking the battery & switches etc. Got a wiring diagram but as yet, no spark..... Found the ignition wire from the generator and it is producing voltage when kicked over. Found the 2 wires from the pulse from the generator Connected these up to the cdi box, there is an output to the LT side of the coil but it is less than the output directly from the generator (going to get a digital multimeter so I can measure it accurately) Question. Is there a way to test the CDI box? What should the output voltage be at the LT wire? Should the voltage be different from the generator and the output of the CDI?? Andy.

Just rode hillsbro' last Sunday , Great Trial. Looking at championship only 4 or 5 on average in each class really doing the whole series. I think it would be better to have four more central rounds i.e. Bemrose or Dave Rowland near Buxton and what about D K Mansell south of Birmingham. Fourteen rounds with best ten to count. Surely that would encourage riders to do more rounds. What do you Classic guys think?

Hi , i have a sherco 2004 - just brought it! the bloke b4 me said the plates have done 4-5 hours, i am finding the clutch is really biting - jumping! i have taken the cover off the clutch and the basket has movement - would this cause it to jump?? should there be any movements of the basket? PLEASE HELP!!!!

Whats all this about then ,anyone heard anymore.It would be a great move by Dougie to catch that next record beating title.Fingers crossed it might be a possibility.

I have been running a business from home for quite a while but now i want to move it to a shop, it would be great if i could advertise my business on my shirt and riding pants, does anyone know where i can buy plane white shirts and pants so i could have my business name printed on them with my own logo, i suppose a compromise would be, plane yellow, or any light colour would be ok.

We were in a bit of a lockdown clear out at home today and I came across a load of old trials results. This is a Berko one from February 1983. A really good nostalgic read if you’re from this centre. And some well known riders. I got a darts score

I would just like to say how much I enjoy the candid and honest views of John Shirt on how his team has done after any given event. It's great for people like me who aren't involved in trials on a regular basis (but still love the sport), to hear the thoughts of someone "at the business end". Just a shame more people in his postion don't follow his lead. ps. I don't have a Gas Gas btw!

There are a couple of products designed to stop petrol tanks from leaking. You know the sort ...you pour it in and swill it around and bingo ...you hope. Fiber glass resin is supposed to be petrol resistant , so whats the harm in using this instead ?? Any views ?

Finally approaching the point of trying to flash up my 240 Fantic that I have been patiently re-doing. Getting very excited to hear it run. Last things to do, are clean the carb completely, and put the new ring on , throttle cable, and put the rest of the engine back together. Hopefully try flashing it before the weekend is over!!
