Hi all I'm trying to import my 2022 TXT 250 into the US, but i'm currently not with my bike to check the stickers. Are there any 'competition only' or U.S emissions stickers on the bike? If so, could any kind soul send me or post a photos of the stickers (or stamps) so I can check with US customs if i can import or not. Thank you!

I've just read this on Enduro News, I've responded to DEFRA and would urge you to do the same, I'd rather spend 20mins composing an e mail to them now and go home late on a Friday than loose land access. The Ramblers association don't like anyone (in my opinion) not just trials riders so don't expect a view but their's to be voiced on the panel. http://enduronews.com/archive/xenduro1681.htm

This means less time for practicing moto-trials intill its fixed! 16.0 OVS vertical Briggs engine. Symptoms: Ran out of gas, chug, chug, chug. Filled tank, but would not start, opened air box, she slightly back fired a few times. Pulled carb and cleaned well, still will not start, open rocker cover and noticed top rocker very loose, inspected push rod and looks good, tighten rocker up. Now, starts right up, but top rocker arm will not tighten to eqaul tension as lower rocker, much play but starts well, makes much tap noise. So, is it a broken valve? What should I do next? shercosam

Just out of curiosity I've just done a fairly quick internet search for this year's trials bike prices. To make it a bit less complicated I searched only for 250cc (ish) models. Here's what I found: Beta 2T £5495 (4T 300cc £5795), GasGas £5450, TRS £5399, Montesa 260 4RT £5699 (Cota 300 £5999), Montesa Repsol £6699, Sherco £5495, Scorpa £5099 (but also £6125 which is a bit confusing - might be shome mishtake on my part), Vertigo Camo £6295, Vertigo Ice Hell £6995. During this search I discovered that Ossa is no more. Another disappointment was the disappearance of the 'new' Greeves trials bike. Doh! - I'm always the last to know these things. Finger on the pulse…

I am 5'11 tall (180cm) and 190 lbs (86 kg). I am athletic and very physically fit. I race in GNCC hare scrambles and ride hard enduro on my GasGas 300 XC. I want to get a trials bike to help with my hard enduro skills and also as just another motorcycle activity to enjoy. I have never even seen a trials bike in person and I don't think there are any clubs near me but I will try to look. I have no idea what to look for for a first trials bike. 2 stroke or 4 stroke, engine displacement, etc. I do not want to get a beginner bike that I will quickly out grow but I do not want a bike that will be too much for me. There is a beta dealer 2 hours from me and I think that …

Hi everyone, I'm Mike & I want to get into trials. I have had plenty of bike experience in the past but not ridden much in the last 10 years. I'm not very knowledgeable about modern trials bikes but from what I've seen I think I probably want a 200 - 250 engine and beta and gas gas seem to be the best makes. I have however seen a scorpa 250 with a rotax engine for sale and it seems to be good value for the price, are rotax good solid engines? Any advice would be most appreciated. Thanks

Hi I have been away from trials for around 14 years and just started back riding again. On coming back to trials I have seen the recruitment at club level for observers, as not changed, its difficultI ! As I have been away so long if the idea as been discussed before - sorry Just an idea - Self Observing Each section positioned at the end on a post/tree at handle bar hight, a punch, as riders we have own score cards, (similar used in the Nationals back in my day). when the rider as ridden the section, they punch they own score card, on sections that do have an observer they can use the punch card system. I feel this way more people will come to watch the sport n…

Kenya is a country very close to me, it's my second home. For many reasons I have spent in the bushes three of the last fifteen years of my life, that is a 20% of my recent life. Among the things I have enjoyed in Kenya is of course trials, not competition trials, but adventure trials, long trials routes that have led me to enjoy fantastic places, spectacular scenery, unforgettable moments and great friends. Now Kenya is going through a bad time, and some friends there are struggling. Kenya also exists for trials.

Hi am in a dilemma i am not sure on what bike to for. Its between a 2016 sherco 250 and a 2016 montesa cota 4rt I have tried the 2016 sherco and i thought it was great but i havent tried the 2016 montesa i have only tried the 2014 cota which i thought was great. Would it be worth going the extra money to get the cota 4rt or should i just go for the sherco. I have had 2 sherco's a 2004 200 and a 2011 290 I liked the 2004 but i am not fused on the 2011 Many thanks

Hi all, Sure this questions has been asked a million times on here but here we go any way. Got a beta 250 techno to try trials and really enjoy so now want to upgrade my bike. I think I have narrowed it down to a choice of three but just can't decide Beta evo 250 Beta evo 300. 4T 4RT Any ideas ? I am really torn as I love the sound of the 4 strokes but wonder if I would gain more from the 2 T in terms of experience Help ! Thanks Fatty

Hi Guy's. I have this week taken two road bikes for MOT. And both of them, have had to have bigger rear number-plates fitted. So does this mean that all motorcycles that are road registered, need this size of plate? I was told it is three points and a

Did Fuji Cheat? If not by the rules he certainly cheated eight thousand paying people in most sports snooker, football speedway not making a genuine effort to compete brings about a fine, disqualification or penalty of some kind. Did the FIM really change the rules between the programe being printed and saturday night? Only three riders in the final has got to be wrong what happens if they get to the last round and raga or example just needs a podium finish to take the overall title the championship could be sorted before the final On a different note the presentation left alot to be desired A big screen is a must if your sat in a seat with a restricted view and i…

Got my new Sherco, did'nt take time to get myself a set of fork protectors and what needed not to happen happened... dropped the bike on a sharp rock and dented on of the inner tubes of my fork. The seal is not leaking but I am wondering if I should try to reduce the sharpness of the dent or if I should not touch it. I suspect there is some kind of treatment on the fork so that it should not be sanded/filed... Any experience?
