Just read my e-mails, my local trials club tells me that the EU are seriously proposing that full face helmets must be worn for next season 2011, I mean wtf a full face helmet is restricting to vision and listening to revs of your motor apart from looking stupid, of all the years of being involved with trials riding wearing an open faced helmet why change it, I have only ever seen one bad accident in that time and that was the poor guys legs, what next ? should we be wearing a space type suit for 2012, what do you guys think.

As a former patient of the Air Ambulance, can I urge you all to sign this e petition. Which is asking the government to return the v.a.t that the service pay on fuel. This would help the service carry on their excellent work. Hope the link works ok. https://submissions.epetitions.direct.gov.uk/petitions/29349 Thank you

Hi i'm in the wessex centre in the UK. The Bath mcc does not cater for air cooled mono class. Does anybody know which clubs within 50 miles of Bristol have both air cooled mono and twinshock classes?

Well I've not got the full story yet, but I'm marking out tomorrow so I'll get it then I would think. One of the best bits of land around is about to be lost. We run around 5 or 6 trials a year up there, and there are about 4 totally separate trials within the land, plus more which we hadn't even opened up. For those of you that have ridden the Forest Trophy Trial and the Mid Wales Novogar you'll know the land I'm talking about - the forest at Foel, West of Welshpool. I've been there so much but don't get bored of it, absolutely brilliant stream sections. Well, it seems like the RSPB has had something to do with it and this weekend will be our last trial on the land,…

Haven't had much to do with adult trials since the lad was old enough to ride.decided to go observe at my local trial today and was shocked by the number of people on last lap who just rode through section without so much as a grunt, and it wasn't the kids it was the 20-30 somethings. Yeah the weather was shocking and everyone was soaked but a thanks goes a long way at the end of the day, I'm ashamed to class my self in that age bracket!

Hi all, ever since i was a kid i wanted a trials bike, i used to love watching Kick start (if anyone remembers that?). Now im not a kid id like to get into trials, however the only bikes iv ridden are Honda Pedal and Pop, and a Honda CB100N road bike (used as a field bike, gypo style), so im inexperienced to say the least. I would like some help in know what to go for as a first bike, what engine size etc. Im going to have to try to keep the budget down incase i truely suck at it and end up breaking something. Any comments or suggestion would be much appreciated. oh and if iv posted in the wrong section, please let me know and i will try to move it. Ash

Im looking at buying a Vertigo vertical DL 2018 300cc, Am I doing the right thing, looks mint condition & states it as only been used in local trials. Do they have a dry & wet switch to change the mapping? People say they can eat plugs, & can have electrical issues, Im no trial rider but my two sons are,, Beta 300 4 stroke, GasGas 280 2 stroke, and want to do local trials. I did win a trials once,, G Limber champion back in 1980 but now 59 might not be as easy! please any advice would be greatly appreciated. if you have had an 2018 model or been around them that would be so helpfull.
