Well people some people ride the trial and are happy to get round and finish, this being an achievment in it's own. This year there are four hardy soles doing the trial so that others can get some happiness at the end of it. Click the link for further info. http://trialsvision.com/

Hi i see this topic has already been brought up but with no replies?. There was an advert in the last issue of YOU HAVE USED WORDS OR A PHRASE WHICH ARE NOT PERMITTED ON THIS WEBSITE. PLEASE DELETE YOUR POST/TOPIC. DO NOT TRY TO CIRCUMVENT THE FILTERS IN PLACE ON THIS WEBSITE asking you to register with dunlop via there web site to order discounted tires? I have looked but am unable to find how to do this? Any ideas would be appreciated Thanks Scott

We'll be out again this year taking photos and video for TC. There may even be a DVD if we get round to it. What I need to know is your rider numbers. These forums are great but you never get to know peoples real names. This makes it very difficult to identify riders on the entry list. If you provide you rider number and real name we'll try and make sure you get extra TC coverage.

In the last copy of YOU HAVE USED WORDS OR A PHRASE WHICH ARE NOT PERMITTED ON THIS WEBSITE. PLEASE DELETE YOUR POST/TOPIC. DO NOT TRY TO CIRCUMVENT THE FILTERS IN PLACE ON THIS WEBSITE it mentioned visiting www.dunlopmotorcycle.co.uk to register your riding number for discounted tyres during the week. Tried looking there but ended up at a domain registration site. Anyone have any idea who to contact?

Does anyone know how the new dinner stop arrangement works. It says in the entry paper work that lunch is included. Is it still the burger van? Or are we all off to the local hostelry for a pub lunch

so as the ssdt rapidly approaches who would you put your money on to win the womens class, with no spanish or german contenders this year ,i think it could be rather intresting. my money would be on maria conway on current form but if you look at the entry list theres 5 potential contenders but i think it may be very close .

I've been asked to share these photographs taken by Robert Little at the SSDT during the 1970s Photobucket Clicky Link For some reason, photobucket has stripped the spaces out of the file names. Not hard to work out who's who though.

As the mother of all trials is fast approaching I am thinking about the last few bits and bobs, which of the above is best? The rucksack I can see being a bit of a faf having to put it on and take it off, but all your kit will be in one place and you will be able to carry more (gloves waterproofs etc) the bum bag may not be as big and energy draining but limited on space, nothing at all!!!! dont think I want to take that risk. whats the opinions of the TC population???

Year after year the riders kids travel from across the world to watch there parent(s) ride! At the sunday parade the Police really annoy me and undoubtedly others by coming up and removing. the cheif inspector actually gave permission for them to ride up the street on mums and dads bikes. But one rather grumpy and unthoughtful PC Hire takes objection to this coming along and removing the kids! upsetting not just them but ruining the whole mood for the start of an excellent event. any thoughts here please. jamie

Just a few of my collection When they started using the front number board the club used to collect these at the end on the finishers ramp, I suppose the intention was to maybe use them the following year, but that never happened. Better than the ''Home Made'' Yellow and Black ones that had to be located front and both sides at the rear, as previously mentioned they were the major part of your bike preperation and get it all wrong in a section and the side ones used to cut through your ''Ellgren's'' like a carving knife. Not long now how's all you prep going, mine is fine this year planning what to do each day, Lye in, Big Breakfast, Look at the Weather, Watch a bit…

Just wondering. Back in the Good Old Days manufcturers used to debut new bikes or developments at the Scottish. Sometimes the paddock was the place to catch the first glimpse of next seasons "must have" ? Just wondered if anybody "knew" of anything

Courtesy of Shirty. This is also on the front page. Gas Gas Pro SSDT check list. 1. Check spokes in both front & rear wheels for tightness as they may have worked loose since first being checked. 2. Fit new MICHELIN tyres on the front and back. The heat generated on the road destroys tyres and only Michelins stand the abuse. You can get the whole week out of one rear tyre but we recommend using two. We also recommend using a thicker Enduro inner tube in the front. 3. Repack your silencer with some good quality packing wool. (We recommend SILENTSPORT). It
