I'm planning to put a Bultaco rear wheel on a C15. I also have the swingarm and am wondering if it may be a better idea to install that also. From what I read, the C15 arm has limited tire clearance and is improved if made longer by an inch. C15 type mounts could be welded to the front of the Bultaco arm to accomplish both. Has anyone done this? Are there other recommendations?

I have a 1972 Bultaco 350 Model 92, registered 1/8/1972, (original red Slimline SM replica glass tank) and I am just wondering if anyone knows the correct silver paint colour on the tank - i.e. similar to Ford Silver Fox ? The tank appears to have been painted as the black "pinstripe" between the red tank and silver flash which has the "Bultaco" sticker is raised in profile. I just wanted to paint the silver part and was looking for a matching colour.

Hi there, can anyone help with what wires go where on bultaco sherpa 350 T 199A. The bike has points and there are 4 wires coming from the ignition casing. red.green.yellow and a black which connects to the coil. I am not planning to have lighting on the bike so i just need some advice as to what I need to connect the wires too. I have a wiring diagram which is unclear. If anyone has any photos they could post up to show how they are connected, that would be great. I got the bike as an unfinished non running project, so dont know if it had any problems with its ignition system. Any advice would be great. Cheers

Can anyone advise me regards the front wheel/axle set up on sherpa 199A model. I have bought the bike as a restoration project, but the front wheel is sitting off centre in the forks over to the left side. The speedo drive is mounted on the rear wheel. There is at present a spacer which sits into the right side bearing seal but not on the left side. Does it need one the same as the otherside if the speedo is not being used on the front. I have bought manuals but they are not clear on the matter at all. Please if anyone can help I would be greatful.

Hello my bike has knackered 11.9" shocks and everyone says to fit 340mm but when I open the gap to 340 my chain comes hard up against the swinging arm. Does anyone know whether my weight (14.5 stone) on the pegs will be enough to counter this? If not do you know where I can buy affordable 11.9" trials shocks please? Thanks John. PS sprocket is 62 tooth. photos show 11.9 in place and 340 gap. Gap closes enough to lift chain free at 310mm by the way

hi all im new to this forum and trials in general, but have decided on pre 65 trials and the poachers pre65,therefore i was wondering if it would be practicle to put a SS engine into a c15 frame, what pifalls would i encounter, would it be within the rules,in fact any information would be obliged. Or would it be better to go with a ready built bike.i know its a lot of ifs and buts but any answers would be helpfull, Dan

Hi I’m thinking about building a trials project, I’ve various bits including a tiger cub engine and a c15 frame that looks like it’s been modified for trials. My first question is has anyone put a cub engine with a c15 frame and was it successful ? Or should I just source a tiger cub frame ?
