Recently I purchased a beater ty250 and I am looking for a seat. They appear to be unavailable so I guess I am going to have to have one made. Have any of you done this? Any recommendations as to who can make it? I do have the fiberglass base but no seat. I have made my own seat pans in the past but I would rater not reinvent the wheel if there is a supplier out there. I am located in the US. Thanks

Hi All This is my first post. I'm located in Johannesburg South Africa. I currently ride classic trials on a circa '67-71 BSA Bantam that I built up. I am about to get a Cheetah Villiers trials bike which is mostly original and has some history, including participation in the Scottish six days. I believe that this brand was a "kit bike". Does anyone have any pics or info that I may use to assist me to restore it correctly. I intend to ride this one in classic trials too. Thanks in advance David Haines

Does anybody know where to get the paper numbers from that you stick on the front of your bike? I would imagine there must be one or two organisers on here who can point me in the right direction. Cheers.

It was the first round of my clubs trial bike series today. For pre 57 bikes. I didn't ride as i am still waiting for my company car and the guys who normally can fit my bike in their van if I am stuck were busy. I popped over to observe. Click on the thumbnails for larger pictures Ian cramp on his 1930's 350cc Levis. One of the few times he was upright. This bike is a total loss oil system and has exposed valve gear. a 1950's 350cc BSA Gold Star a 1930's 350cc Ariel a 1950's 350cc BSA B31 More photos can be seen here http://gautrek.imgur.com/all/

Has anyone had any experience with one of these badboys, got one today and fitted to the Bantam(don't laugh) didn't notice much difference.I tried it in all 3 positions no difference. My friend fitted one to his James and noticed a vast improvement, making the clutch lighter. What is the lightest position of the 3 holes?Thought it was a good idea but may have to mod. the clutch arm instead and reposition the cable . cheers the noo Brian

Hello, I would like to fit some new seals on my Metal Profile s200 forks. Do I need to remove the sliders from the tubes to do this? If so does anyone know how to do this? When I try to undo the bolt at the bottom of the fork that goes up into the damper the whole assembly goes round inside the tube. Any ideas anyone please. Also if anyone else has a Wassell Bantam I would love to hear from you and exhange pics and info etc.

I recall reading about the existence of an event called the ACU 1000 Mile Trial - I forget where. Possibly run in the early 1900s. Does anyone have any information on it? What happened to it? Just out of interest. Thanks.
