Hi Guys, Having a hassle with my clutch, it's an old bike and I am in the process of refurbishing it. The snag is I have no idea how yo open up the clutch and investigate what the actual problem is. Any help will be much appreciated, a manual, video or some pics. Thanks in advance! Leigh

Hi there What's the best gearing on Fantic 240 ? Currently running 11/39 and after first ride I think needs slowing a little (possibly to 12/39?) Standard of riding is expert Kia sections - pretty much modern riding style. Any advice appreciated. cheers, John

On occasion my Fantic 200 rear kick jumps out of bottom gear. I have been advised it's likely to be the spring holding the location bearing under the selector drum. I have stripped the engine and removed the gear cluster and inspected all components, no obvious damage , gears and dogs are sound and no selector fork damage. I wish to replace the spring in case it's worn , but how do I find a replacement, does any one have a spec or a source, I believe there is no official stock left Any suggestions

Hi guys, new on the forum. After a few years of tinkering with twinshocks i have managed to get myself a fantic tx250 project. I am aware these are a 125, and the bike was purchased from a friend in pieces. I have taken some measurments from the engine today and noticed that it seems to have had some real nice work done. The Barrel has had a liner fitted with a copper spacer on the bottom , it is running a 69mm piston with two rings. It also appears to have been fully ported and is running a 25mm Amal carburettor. Using the piston measurments and stroke this should bring the bike out at 196cc. It also doesnt run a headgasket as the liner and head have been machined …

Hi fellows. Fitted the blue Ducati Energia coil as per the attached diagram. Still no spark and now considering removal of flywheel to dig deeper. Any tips on flywheel removal operation (standard r-h threads)? Anything else to consider or look for? Thanks.

Hello All, I have a brand new PHBL Dellorto that has been giving me float headaches. As a backup, while I sort out Delly, I have purchased a 26mm OKO. Does anyone have the OKO settings for a Fantic 240 pro? Cheers, Ben

Need to fit replacement bearings in the swing arm, its a forward kick 200, this is what has come out, any one know a source ?

I was going to powder coat the frame on my 240 and have moved the footrests and thought I might steepen the fork rake how much do you steepen the forks or is it not worth it. I there any one with pics to show where to cut.

Anyone out there using the blue coil on their 240 is the wiring from the front black green red.

Hello guys, I have only had Montesa's in the past and just recently I acquired a 240 Professional! Planning on using this bike in ARHMA competitions and locally. I have been looking around for some parts I need for it but most is on Euro sites and prices are way too high. Anybody know of a source?

hi, just acquired a nice used Fantic 200 (rear kick) with intension of winter re-build ready for next year! appears to be all standard except for tail pipe and rear shocks. I am thinking of getting frame powder coated but before I do a couple of questions:- been reading forums about re-positioning footrests (about 25 back, 25 down) any advice as to best position? also thinking about steering head tuck but from what I have read so far 200 doesn't need this, any advise would be great. last for now, what should rear shock length be? the ones it came with look like they should be on 750 road bike, length not bad but springs are about 3'' diameter!! …

For those that have ridden both in competition how does the Fantic 200 (Minerelli) stack up against the Fantic 300? Pro's and con's of both please.

My Fantic 200 has been stood for 18 months (dry storage) before storage it started fine, now it doesn't start at all. It's got a very weak spark (very, very weak), done all the usual, new plug etc etc. On measuring the coil, 3 terminal alloy type, ones side has 55 ohms and the other has 714, earth to ground is zero, does this point to a duff coil? If so is the blue type that In Motion sells (£47) a worthwhile upgrade? Thanks.

Hi all can you let me know what is the original size of front and rear tyres for a Fantic 200 FM350, 1978 also would a 120/100 18"rear Trail X Light comp fit the rear 4" rim.

I thought I saw a thread on here a while ago on this topic, but I can't find it now. On my bike, the bearings are quite exposed. I'm sure I saw somewhere that there is supposed to be some sort of cap to protect them from the elements. Mine felt a little rough when I was in the garage tonight, so now seems like the time to get it all sorted out properly. Any advice?
