Just Curious if anyone is going to ride at Columbus. Homer and Marvin are planning to just wondering if anyone else is planning on going. They had only 2 riders at south carolina. They have lowered the entry fee to $50 and trials inc has a trial within a hour the next day.

Well, I thought I'd throw something up regarding the Ute Cup in Colorado last weekend. A wonderful event in the beautiful San Isabel Mountains and the RMTA people did a fantastic job, as usual. 20+ mile loops and 20 sections per loop (2 loops per day) and the weather was very cooperative. The sections were rideable by a good Intermediate (I would have ridden all the sections I saw with no problem) and several riders came in with clean cards. I checked sections with Ed Peacock each day and we saw many smiles on the riders faces who came through. A quick post from Sante Fe, New Mexico on the way back home from the Ute Cup. It was, in a word, great! They have gone back to the old format. Intermediate/Advanced level sections so the Trial is geared for the average Intermediate rider, long loop (22 miles on Saturday, close to that Sunday) and ride the same sections twice (two loops each day). 20 sections on Saturday and I think 16 on Sunday. I probably had 20+ riders tell me how much fun they were having. More to come later....must....sleep.....now.......... Cheers. Jon

I'm starting this thread for information regarding the vintage trials to be held in conjunction with Vintage Motorcycle Days at Mid-Ohio July 24-26. The trials are scheduled for Sunday, July 26. Any updates on the Youth Nationals down at TTC? I have not seen results or anything on TTC site.

Well I'm still here at the TTC. Sorry Cope didn't get your message till I logged on just now. Guess it wouldn't be a fair wager. Another great event!! All the kids are really progressing. In the top 15 & under class it was a three way battle between Eric Storz, Karl Davis Jr. & David Mizell with each one of them winning one of the days. In the end Karl won the championship. As a side note the top three riders where all on 125's. In the 13 & under class Chase Harker easily won his 6th title in a row. Zeke (I think that's how you spell his name) Mizell won the 11& under class with two wins. The other win coming from Aaron Thistle on day one. I s…
