  2. I am 65 and have a 200 beta evo, enjoy riding it very much, plenty of power and rides like a 125, doesn't seem to tire me like my 250 used to
  3. yes pretty sure few years ago they were all mild steel stainless is a recent option, perhaps we are getting more affluent!
  4. don't know what size Ossa is,assuming you are talking oil filler cap, but check out small stationary engines (Honda g160 etc.) or I have used boat drain plugs, very cheap on ebay and fitted my beta alp!

  8. I run a 14 front/48 rear would suggest going down to 13 on front, think std is 15 front I am doing more "tricky trails" than LDT though I have rode some wyegate sections

  14. Have to agree Steve all that balancing just to show you could and what was all that changing up an d down about?...no stop or stop permitted with a tight time limit for me and defo no going backwards, to me that's a 2nd attempt

  16. with our local bearing shop if you take the old one in they will measure it and match it
  17. I agree been known to hit 90+ psi before it popped!...clean underpants job! also agree with comment on Michies "softening " after initial use and given tip by tyre fitter, lard is good lube and helps seal when 1st inflating!
  18. been riding 45+ years, never used a pressure gauge, asked what I run at once said I don't know, let air out til it looks "right", the guy put his gauge on it and it wouldn't read, only went down to 3psi, so i must run less than that!
  19. try replacing the float needle, it has a teflon tip which is almost invisible so hard to see when worn...I replace about every 2 years, also set carb floats up as per post on here
  20. now if you put the back wheel in and something to hold the front wheel on the roof...

  22. the light will not go out only bright/dim as there is a shunt to avoid burning the points (when running most of current bypasses points)
