    Sales!

What type of person are you then ?
  2. There's only a very small difference in the centres on the plates, but makes a large difference to the way the bike sits, and seemed to make a difference in the way the shock reacts. I had some from Peter Schwarz, but I think they all pretty much the same.
  3. I have mine set at 4mm BTDC 199cc but have an R Cam in. I think it still feels a bit advanced ? Still runs smooth and revs out cleanly. Best bet is to have a play, leave the clutch cover off - the clutch and chain will survive without oil while you fine tune. Is is a static coil or with auto advance? I heard static was best for the 199, with the auto advance coil working best with the Serco 250 conversion.

    How Rare!

Bit of dodgy bidding going on there me thinks

    Oy Rappers!

Without the people at the back, there wouldn't be anyone at the front! Seriously, its the Clubman who buy their bikes, and spares at full price and keep the limited profits in the sport to allow the dealers and importers to sponsor the talented few. The SSDT shouldn't be an 'elitest' event, it was after all the 'Holiday in the Highlands'. Let Joe Bloggs ride, nowt wrong with being last or near the back if you've given it 110% - its much more of a personal achievement for Joe to finish, I bet those who have struggled all week walk 2 inches taller on the Sunday morning, whereas the front runners are off to their next trial. (Missed my chance in 1981, the only year I could have got an entry and was good enough to get round without embarassing myself - clashed with exams My folks wouldn't let me even put an entry in)

    Sy 250f

Nice pic of Everts testing it on TMX Page 3 - notice the manual decompression lever on the clutch side and the size of the rear sprocket has increase IMHO. Look out SSDT rockery
  7. Anyone seen these about ? http://www.gaerne.com/trial.asp?sezione=trial
  8. Confirmed, Dear John letter and my cheque came back in the post today.
  9. This is the real issue facing the WTC - where to now ? If Outdoors continues to evolve to 'indoor' style sections then what's the point? The indoors are already losing out coverage by Eurosport, used to be 'prime time' i.e. weekday evening at around 7pm UK, now banished to mid afternoon on Eurosport2. Same riders, same sections same result - pretty boring. Rounds like Duluth, Motegi and Hawkstone produced the most varied results last year. All had 'proper' sections
  10. Nice looking new GG125 06 Racing Model on Page 3 of TMX, only an extra
  11. Anyone with any ideas when this years S2DT Pre65ers will know the results of the 'ballot'.
  12. Can't see it running too well with no chain on <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Its called maintenance

    Colonial

If you hang around a few minutes on Sunday CK - you can benefit from a bit of Subira 4RT rotavation

    Colonial

CK can you concentrate on landscaping the sections for the rest of us at the front of the field?
  16. Hmmm....might go for silly money http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Triumph-Tiger-Cub-Tr...1QQcmdZViewItem
  17. How do the latest plastic buckle Gaerne's compare with the old steel loop 'Balance Lampkins' ? My Gaerne's (5yrs old) win hands down over my Gars (2 yrs old) for comfort every time, mainly as the Gars leave enough room to pack a spare tube round my calves. Are the Gaerne boots still a narrower boot or should I supersize myself to make my boots fit??
  18. Sold 2 bikes and a pile of nice trick bits through the TC ads. It reaches parts that other publications can't reach! Yours a Satisfied Customer

    Works 315r

The tank is one of Mitani's, then Marky Boy sorted the paintwork. It's now over the pond being used by another TC member.
  20. And you want to throw that round the Colonial ? Will you be completing the 'Street Fighter' look by riding round in knee length boots and a leather bikini?? As I haven't had my entry sent back yet, I might make it to Rosedale
  21. Then if Kinell's used all his fuel, Perce can always rely on the bike side fuel delivery service from Dabster.
  22. First day out with the new clutch today. Firstly, I'd like to stress that I'm not on commission from Mitani. Secondly, it works! It was pretty slippery where I rode, so grip was at a premium whether you were on a 2T or 4T. The new clutch gets rid of the 'snatchy' engagement that would normally see you spin the wheel when you try to release the lever smoothly and add power. Its much more progressive, so you can feed the clutch and power, without the on/off effect. No probs finding neutral, or starting in gear even at the end of the event. My bike is an 05, and I haven't ridden an 06, so I'm not sure how it would compare. I'm using the recommended Elf gear oil, bike is fitted with the 315 Master Cylinder and long lever.
