Yes just used a 4 1/2 inch angle grinder with a thin cutting blade.yes as close to the bottom so the foot pegs were just above sump shield level,felt more like riding a modern bike.than perched high up.

Hi on mine i cut the original mountings off the frame and just rewelded it lower down

Thanks timp just downloaded the App even though i have a Tom Tom,and a Garmin sat nav and Co Pilot on my phone,as you say there is loads of places where post codes are well away from the start of events.and it also works with my Co Pilot,which is great.

I know Barry only through riding at Barnsley trials club,but you will have very good bike there,never thrashed,only ridden on the Novice route,and a very steady rider.

It the same as a lot of the Yamaha road bikes, the colour is dpbmc - Deep purplish blue metalic cocktail.well that is whats posted elsewhere on here.Also someone posted that Honda Electron Blue is close need some myself.

You could just take the cylinder head off,measure the bore size.then you would only need the 2 o rings.
125 bore size 54mm
200 bore size 64mm
250 bore size 72.5mm

You could try draining the transmission fluid and hope it comes out with the oil.

My son rides a 2015 Sherco 250 on the novice route.and so far is well pleased,and his riding buddy had a 300, Sherco 2015 but traded it in for a 250 model.and he rode it this week-end past.and said it was a lot easier to ride, no arm wrenching stuff,which he had with the 300,lol
