  1. Sounds like carburation to me, have you swapped carb with the other bike & tried it then?
  2. Get a proper test ride on a 4RT before you buy, they don't suit everyone.
  3. Haha, I honestly didn't see that when I posted!! Must be losing it!

    Yamaha...

It would need to be a lot different to the monstrosity shown above.
  5. Usually for letting air out on older bikes.
  6. Sorry, I meant quicker as in engine response, lightening the flywheel would achieve this, but lowering the compression would counteract that.
  7. So you want to reduce compression which will make the power softer, then reduce flywheel weight to make it quicker again? I would leave it alone & get a 200 KTM for your enduro, that's what I did. great fun!! Perhaps retarding the timing slightly might help with kick-back when starting if your worried about the kickstarter.
  8. Didn't catch fire though.....
  9. If you can narrow down any particular areas in your riding where you don't feel confident, that's a good start. Then you can begin to work on that & build up your confidence from there.
  10. Looks like the chain is too slack.
  11. Lots of tank replacements. The tank is very thin & squishy.
  12. As above, i'll guess its to do with electric bikes.
  13. Make sure you test ride both bikes properly before you buy, these are quite different in character & suit different people. I wouldn't worry about carb setup, not really an issue. They way the bike feels to you is the main thing.
  14. Could be a TXT "edition" rather than a pro. Which model is it?
  15. Can you post a video of what you are doing?
  16. Importer Nigel Birkett is your man.
  17. I think the new Hebo boots use the boa system rather than buckles, allowing for more snug fitting. Might be worth checking those out.
  18. Compulsory? Highly unlikely at club level.
