  1. I have some fox launch enduro MTB knee pads. Ive worn these for all day rides on the mtb & theyre really comfortable, not bulky at all. Was thinking about using them for trials when I get back to riding.
  2. Plus the TY mono would have been a huge failure!
  3. If it kicks back a lot when starting have a look at the timing/flywheel.
  4. If im not mistaken TRS advise 100:1 oil ratio, if the previous owner has been using even more oil than the 70:1 you are using, and riding gently there is your problem. If it were mine, I would be on 85:1 unless you're doing fast trail riding or revving the bike very hard for bigtime sections frequently.
  5. Assuming you are using good quality synthetic oil at the correct ratio?
  6. I also like burbling about just off idle, that's why I got a 300 evo 2t. Very flexible motor without all the downsides of a 4 stroke.
  7. Until you’ve established which bike you get on with best, it’s fairly futile asking the forum members what they would choose. Ride some bikes then choose the newest you can afford.
  8. use a long straight edge to establish whether the rear wheel is indeed in line with the front, as 2stroke4stroke says above: the snail cams may not need to be in the same positions to achieve this.
  9. Wheel bearings fully home? left & right spacers on the correct sides?
  10. Depends on other things such as crankshaft weight etc.
  11. Don’t leave us in suspense, it’s really quite what???
  12. Rubbish, I'm sure he is up for the BTC but his contract says Spanish championship & Trial2.
  13. Alspan motorcycles at crook? Al there is a very good trials mechanic.
  14. Yes they are like that, you could try lowering the gearing slightly as they are very snatchy off the bottom end.

Word is 2020 will see a new model.
  16. Didn't Jarvis ride an enduro bike one year? or have I imagined it??
  17. Cant help with 3 bikes but I have a new shape connect L2 and its been really good, Long enough for a trials bike straight in without turning the bars. I had a brand new dispatch 2 years ago and it was terrible, dodgy clutch (failed after 18 000 miles) , dodgy electrics, dodgy build quality & poor MPG. The new shape dispatch still uses the old engines so I would avoid, also there are more electronics in this new version & citroen just don't do reliable electrics so another reason to avoid in my opinion.

Have a think about it & tell us when you’ve worked it out??
  21. Hi, your bike is a 1994 jt25, 250cc.
  22. What a strange post?! Firstly, grattarola isn't involved in this, he has done no wrong except ride his socks off. The incident involves the observer when Marcelli is riding the section. Second, you are calling for the bikes to be restricted, and in same sentence complain that the bikes are being restricted by the tyre regulations??
  23. Which is why it should be 1 Mark for a stop.
  24. So reversing is allowed then? as going backwards is "motion" too. I was under the impression it was "forward motion" that has to be maintained.
  25. Changed oil every 5 trials using nanotrans, no probs, worked perfect.
