  1. You are the first person I`ve heard of with one. I would think you would at least need a 10t counter. Glad you like it.
  2. Why does GAS GAS not change. Because people keep buying them!?!
  3. I`ve had brand new gassers rusted in the crate before. Not a good start on a `new` bike.
  4. I just sold an `81 cota 200. I had the bike 15years. There was no sign the tank had been coated before me. Never had any fuel issues.
  5. Get the correct key , put it back together and see if it is all ok. You cannot run with out a key.(for long)
  6. So did you not start another post/topic/poll on this today? Deleted?
  7. I hate it when the poster never replies back. Can`t say I blame him now!!
  8. With the clutch height in spec, the pro clutch works well(not quite well enough to roll back a long ways)enough. Either the master cylinder is bleeding by or the O-rings could use replacing. Has the clutch cover been updated?
  9. http://www.shercousa.com/pdfs/sherco_brake_and_clutch_system_bleeding_manual.pdf
  10. You opened the nipple and let air in!

  12. If the finger height is with in specs I would be looking at the m/c or the O-rings in the clutch case.
  13. Did you make sure the start jet circuit was clear? Seems like I had that issue long ago.
  14. The older gas gas boys had ignition problems. ( Not sure of the current models) So knowing this my boy got a Beta mini trial, Then went through two ty80`s, to a gas gas txt70 which was a great bike. The ty80 fills in the gap. Just needs geared down to where the clutch really does not matter.
  15. Loosen top fork clamps. Loosen fork tops. Slide dust seal up, remove seal clip. Remove bottom bolt from fork leg, drain. Pull bottom leg off, Seal comes out at the same time. Use the fork leg like a slide hammer. http://www.betamotor.com/system/attachments/0000/0749/REV3_inglese.pdf
  16. The gas gas has the bells and whistles, the Beta starts.
  17. Junior line. Ray attempted the section Saturday, but never got up the big ledge. I never knew he even rode sunday till I saw the results! Roper and Davis looked good on the first loop, then faded.
  18. Interesting pair in the open class, top `Pro` rider verses top `Expert rider. Cody cleaned my section (blue line) while Peters punched it!
  19. Talk to your dealer. If still not satisfied, notify the importer.
  20. It is gutless if you are riding straight down a road! How many trials have you ridden?
  21. I think while you are at it, you might as well put a little anti-seize on them. They should not be as tight as you think. After all it is a pinch bolt. Nothing worse than trying to repair a fork clamp.
  22. I disagree with this statement. We already have that now, Trials by video game ! `quote by funtrials`{I yearn for the day when that rock can be made by the average person, because the bikes will hopefully become so incredibly advanced (front wheel drive, electric, better tires, etc.).} You went from enthusiast to just about nuts as no matter `how` great those bikes become, the crash still results in a lot of pain for mere mortals!
  23. Unless you were there competing or had some inside knowledge you will never get the true story of why. I enjoy your passion for trials, but you seem to come from a time that you never got a failure. (Like the all day dab) That is what was wrong with the rules. Not enough failures and too much time doing nothing. You will have lots more 5`s in no stop!!! The other problem was course set up for the rules. If they set sections that were ridden under stop and hop, now they are quite harder and could be ridiculously impossible with no-stop. I scored at Tennessee and we had a rock that was 50/50 on if you made it.(including Bou!) After I returned home I found footage of the same rock from the 2008 event. Most riders made the same rock easily with a stop and perfect set up. Now you have to take what you get on the approach. Totally different riding!
  24. On the other hand, the FIM did not set the sections. And least we forget the riders all walk the sections together on friday and can have the sections altered. So what happened?
