  1. Well Pat was 12th and 11th. CODy Webb would have been 4th and 7th on the blue line.(rode international) Roper and Davis tried hard. Fastle was top American in 125. Was so much fun watching our riders!
  2. Well that did not work Pictures second day eighth row down.. Raga 18332-18335 middle of page.
  3. No one was told that you could stop for a couple of seconds. Number one, this tape was too far away for anyone to comment. Number two we were told just because the spokes stop did not mean the motion stopped. It does need to be refined further. I scored on a section that steered the out come on both days. Section 5. For the most part all three lines had a deciding ledge on this section. For the most part, every rider 5`d or crashed in this section. Bou had a very hard fall on Saturday. This is where Raga shined. Sunday, Raga got up twice but still received 2 failures with a marker moved. Smage
  4. Try tripplewhipper on this thread. http://advrider.com/...t=733874&page=2
  5. I`m loading right now. Not too crazy about the 20 hour drive! But come saturday morning it will be great. It will be my sons first view of the world round riders. He just started riding expert,( 15yrs old 6`4``} can`t wait to see his jaw drop!!!!!!!
  6. You need to remove(replace)and inspect the needle and seat in the carb. It could just be a float sticking or the float height needing adjustment. Have you ever read the post on proper adjustment of the carb that`s pinned on the Beta forum?
  7. All the `new` bikes ride well. The Beta was very close to riding like the Montesa. If you liked the cota you will feel at home on the Evo.
  8. Get the Yamaha type switch. Lately people have started to `like` the lanyard style. The first time you lose or forget the lanyard you will be quite unhappy. There should be a loose wire off the cdi if I remember right. It is best to get a two wire kill button. Ground the second wire to the frame.
  9. If I remember right that is the way to check level. It is much easier to just change the oil with the correct amount. Which is stamped in the case by the oil fill.
  10. Look to the last two posts. http://www.trialscen...mixed-messages/
  11. We just had this discussion on another bike about the same year. 360cc each leg dry. I`ll look again.
  12. Have you had the bike from new? Does it have coolant? And is it hot out since we do not know your location. Need to check if the thermostat is bypassed. Always running is not so bad unless the water pump is bad!
  13. Actually the bike looks great. You`ve had the 520 conversion, as the bike had a 428 originally. The chain tubes would make it look more original, but it was quite a clutter of things with the mount coming off the rear axle. Nice handling bikes, have fun!
  14. He`s usually out in the Arizona desert some where!
  15. You mean you aren`t going? TTC may 25th and 26th. http://trialsusgp.com/
  16. I `made ` a new air filter for my 1990 247. I just started it last week. It had been rescued from 7 years outdoors! Cleaned the carb, changed the oil and it started the third kick!
  17. The forks on mine are very soft. Are you sure they are sticking?

    Raga 2004

So why you want to mess with a fine bike?
  20. The piston looks fine, As he said does the thing spark. Leave the plug out, but in the cap. Ground it to the motor and kick to see spark. Always be careful not to start it on fire!
  21. You really said nothing in your post. Sounds more like you have a hard time installing the float bowl.
  22. ITSA all the way. Great bunch of guys and a lot more fun than the modern clubs. Glenn you see the write up from our season opener? http://blackcatvinta...-tie-break.aspx
  23. Jon , the first time I had that happen was a 2001 321. Ever since I assemble them collapsed. Of course it had to happen in a trials!
  24. The forks will stick down if they weren`t centered on assembly. I take it you disassembled the forks? I install the bottom bolt with the forks collapsed to center them.
  25. Nice post, you are right for most riders. And most people do not understand where the rules came from. Clubs should follow the NATC and the NATC should follow the world, but some where along the way everybody became totally lost!! Either the no-stop rules need to be adjusted to work.(Maybe check out ITSA rules http://twinshock.org...module_id=10801) Or the opposite to go with indoor rules outdoor, but with such a strict time limit that it would look like no stop riding. This changing the rules back and cross ways has ruined the sport! It used to be not so hard to understand, have we all been dumbed down so much we have no sense left? My son and I just volunteered to score at TTC for the world round. So instead of just blowing smoke, I`ll get to reply back on how the `rules` are working! And to Zippy one of our 18 year olds from our club is going to ride!!!!! So it should be exciting! Also Zippy all it takes is one or two riders to do well in the Nationals to open the flood gates to the rest!
