  1. Yes, there where a lot of tree dabs on that section. In fact all the American riders(except Webb) struggled there. In fact Peters never made it up Saturday and punched it sunday.
  2. Thanks Peter! That`s the most logical guide I think I`ve seen. People usually just try the main and clip on the needle. Last ten years I`ve started with the pilot.
  3. All of you crying about fives. That is what was wrong with the all day dab. You had to crash to get five. Now the not so talented riders will have a card full of fives!
  4. Bypass the thermostat and push start the fan every time you start the bike. Just to get through the weekend.

  6. I asked him about the `74 ute cup and he instantly remembered that he could not make his bike run. It was held at fairplay , Colorado riding over sheep mountain. Elevation 12,800 ft. The bikes would hardly go! http://www.summitpos...untain-f/412195
  7. You could have other issues with the bike. Plugged exhaust and/or spark arrestor. The 160 was pretty much a dog. Have Stan Hensley have a look.
  8. Leave it alone. And yes the newer 125`s are faster!
  9. The first two pics make that huge wall look half the size it was!! That was section 5 and every rider missed or crashed at least once. Funny listening to the small comments! Just ask Bou! Raga had three 5`s out of six tries, so half of his points for the weekend!!!
  10. Posted Yesterday, 11:03 PM Should have a Keihin - weird. The 12 rear brake hoses are crap. Get one for a 2011. Other than that - great bikes. Quote from Lazer.
  11. http://www.gasgasuk....news.php?id=538 Your carb info looks wrong?
  12. Fuji stops and dabs for 3 seconds. http://www.flickr.co...N05/8868174097 Yes, should have been a 5 as I was there. Sectionone did you see the changes made to this section the next day? Dabill and Smage were the only riders to ride it straight on Saturday. On sunday, you had to keep going straight up. Bou missed the up on the last loop! Giving the win to Raga.
  13. Well Pat was 12th and 11th. CODy Webb would have been 4th and 7th on the blue line.(rode international) Roper and Davis tried hard. Fastle was top American in 125. Was so much fun watching our riders!
  14. Well that did not work Pictures second day eighth row down.. Raga 18332-18335 middle of page.
  15. No one was told that you could stop for a couple of seconds. Number one, this tape was too far away for anyone to comment. Number two we were told just because the spokes stop did not mean the motion stopped. It does need to be refined further. I scored on a section that steered the out come on both days. Section 5. For the most part all three lines had a deciding ledge on this section. For the most part, every rider 5`d or crashed in this section. Bou had a very hard fall on Saturday. This is where Raga shined. Sunday, Raga got up twice but still received 2 failures with a marker moved. Smage
  16. Try tripplewhipper on this thread. http://advrider.com/...t=733874&page=2
  17. I`m loading right now. Not too crazy about the 20 hour drive! But come saturday morning it will be great. It will be my sons first view of the world round riders. He just started riding expert,( 15yrs old 6`4``} can`t wait to see his jaw drop!!!!!!!
  18. You need to remove(replace)and inspect the needle and seat in the carb. It could just be a float sticking or the float height needing adjustment. Have you ever read the post on proper adjustment of the carb that`s pinned on the Beta forum?
  19. All the `new` bikes ride well. The Beta was very close to riding like the Montesa. If you liked the cota you will feel at home on the Evo.
  20. Get the Yamaha type switch. Lately people have started to `like` the lanyard style. The first time you lose or forget the lanyard you will be quite unhappy. There should be a loose wire off the cdi if I remember right. It is best to get a two wire kill button. Ground the second wire to the frame.
  21. If I remember right that is the way to check level. It is much easier to just change the oil with the correct amount. Which is stamped in the case by the oil fill.
  22. Look to the last two posts. http://www.trialscen...mixed-messages/
  23. We just had this discussion on another bike about the same year. 360cc each leg dry. I`ll look again.
  24. Have you had the bike from new? Does it have coolant? And is it hot out since we do not know your location. Need to check if the thermostat is bypassed. Always running is not so bad unless the water pump is bad!
