  1. No ,I did not go. was refering to D. R. riding sr50. Looks like one of his own rode JR. I was just commenting in the consistancy of sections. And I feel I can comment on my own class!
  2. Oh no that is the typical type sections. Hard last week easy this week. I take it that was his boy in last, so he might just be fine with it. And if he wanted a challenge he would have rode a class up. And no the loop is very short.
  3. The tube that loops around should have a hole cut in the middle to breath.
  4. Support class numbers are really low. Scores are fairly high for the retired riders keeping the NATC going! The support riders are there for fun and pushing the bike in the heat is not my kind of fun. Of course the economy has caused a lot of issues. If not for the creation of the clubman class I would think the nationals are slowly going the wrong direction. It is good to see the numbers in the pro class.

    Out Today

A well used Beta could develop a good clutch whine. I have heard a few and owned one once. Was never a problem, but was out of the norm. I hope this is your noise. Good luck.

    Out Today

    Check the flywheel cover!
  7. All the manufactures show over size pistons. I doubt any use steel liners that are boreable.
  8. We have a great start. Pat and Cody swapping wins! Third thru 6th was pretty tight also!
  9. Looks like they were well set sections. Great point spread in all classes. Our up and coming little Rachel beat a lot of good riders!!
  10. Better to have a problem straight away than a couple months down the road. With all the time spent you could of had the bike back to the dealer and give him a shot at making things right. If it was a small issue you would be riding this weekend.
  11. Put the fork back in the clamp and just pull hard using the lower like a slide hammer. (Everything needs to be apart like I think you have it.) There is a bushing that will pop the seal out of the cup. Remember when going together the cup actually floats on the fork tube.
  12. No it is a friend who thought he wanted to ride again and never did. It is as `new`. We have about 3 eco`s around. All a little different.
  13. You want a real 2010, try this http://albuquerque.craigslist.org/mcy/2945598001.html that`s my two cents on the econo`s. I would not buy one if you are a upper class rider. But if you just have to say you have a 2012 they are not that bad........................
  14. If you are jumping on the starter, then it is probably the half moon gear and idler gear. I would remove the clutch cover and clutch to inspect. Starting a pro with bad form will break the kickstart pawl. You want to feel it engage and give it a short fast kick. Once you see how it is made you will understand why. If you continue without `fixing` your problems and style, it is possible to break the case.
  15. When an engine is that flooded, every kick will wet the plug. No spark with a wet plug. Might just leave the plug out a day or two. Give it a kick every so often. Use the kill button if kicking with the plug out. Don`t want the boys having a laugh at your expense, burning the bike before you even ride it!!
  16. That`s just the way Sherco made it`s power. I thought the same when I had one.

    Bottom End

Just wondering if it was from running no stop rules. We forget how easy a 5 can be with all our messing with the clutch nowadays. Since we started stop and hop with always on the clutch the bikes just do not have the same tractor pulling grunt they used too.
  18. You have caused your own problem. You just need a new gasket. The tolerance is so tight that you have to have the thickness of the gasket.
  19. So are you saying it is like a pogo stick? Which is what low oil would do,but you say it gets hard. The earlier sherco suspension always seemed a little `dead` to me. previous discussion; http://www.trialscen...-rebuild-in-us/ Also rear suspension usually is the lightest oil you can find and 150 seems to be what I remember for pressure, but it`s been awhile since I messed with one.
  20. Looks like `somebody` got a bye on saturday. Have fun, we are having a two day also!
  21. http://www.thetwinshockshop.co.uk/parts.php This or just weld a nut in place.
  22. Watch the piston on the clutch master cylinder. Is it slow coming out? That or the slave side is sticking. Are you using the correct fluid. Mineral oil or dot 4?This also can happen with too much oil in the engine.
  23. A fantic coach would be the one of choice. An aprilia climber could be found for cheap and the rotax motor gives you the best mpg of any two stroke. And if you really wanted vintage than a SWM jumbo. try this http://amarillo.craigslist.org/mcy/2872450863.html
  24. Don`t bust a bubble. It is in the shift shaft somewhere. Should not have anything to do with the transmission. Worst case would be a tab on the center case broke off. Need to remove the left case and the clutch it self to get to the linkage. Hopefully it is the shaft only.
