  1. if it dies out after a couple min run time then insure proper fuel flow from tank and that it is vented properly.. there is a screen in the fuel petcock as well you know.
  2. sounds as though the other roller got between the primary gears and damaged them.
  3. you can check the float level, but to some extent this is a normal limitation of a carburetor and simply requires some clearing revs to prevent stalling or perhaps a bit higher idle
  4. many bikes have yoke offset of a couple degrees.
  5. That bike makes a great hobby to throw money into, but not a good trials bike!
  6. info on the Splatshop website.
  7. reeds may not seal perfectly , yet when under backpressure they will ! it needs more fuel, most all dellortos run maxed at 3.5 turns
  8. Clean the carb properly and insure proper jet sizes. Should be around 38 pilot and 122 main jet. Find a strand of copper wire to pass through the jets for verification. The fuel screw will be out 3.5 turns or so. Needle one notch below center. Crank seals are removed from outside, but do not go there as yet.
  9. get some Yamalube 2T if nothing else around. works a charm
  10. there is a great group of riders in the Tulsa area that usually have a few decent bikes available.
  11. JJH needle is standard. Call RYP for current suggestions on settings.
  12. nothing ossa specific, but sounds about right for most any trials bike. you are limited with trials radiators though, as they are not made for hard running like an enduro
  13. absolutely!
  14. I have listened to this and it is not apparent the issue, as they all rattle and worse sitting in neutral while revving. does it reduce when the clutch is in and in gear? there will be some rattle in the primary drive gears as well when unloaded.

Sounds pretty normal to me. No four banger ever likes that. You gotta to roll on throttle from low revs or they can flame out! The CV carb helps a lot, yet not perfect.
  16. put a slow throttle tube onit ffs! that is what they are for

would be nice to find an R16-V off an 08-09 model, but you might contact Splatshop to see what it would take to make the ebay unit fit.
  18. get a PHBL and call it done.
  19. think I would avoid Ossa and Jotagas!
  20. So you did check the banjo screen on the side of carb? All jets clear, really? How did you verify? Remove carb when this is occurring and break the bowl seal over a clear vessel. Look at volume of fuel, ck for water settling and dirt in your sample catch.
  21. There are rubber absorbers in there as I recall, but I could be mistaken.
  22. Try H&D racing.
