  3. ive always used car antifreeze with no ill efects your oil going milky has nothing to do with antifreeze more likely water pump seal is shot
  4. have a look at an m10 bolt and see if there is enough beef round the hole and re tap it to suit m10 .no need to buy expensive taps if you havnt already got a set as its only alloy . helicoils might do short term but they wont last long term on something thats taking a load
  5. going up to the ssdt to spectate for the first time. was wondering if the list of routes and directions how to get to them will be listed on this site beforehand. if not where is best place to find them

  7. phone your stolen vehicle squad with the chassis no and ask if they can run it through the computer . after all its in their intrest too if its stolen
  8. check plenty fuel is coming out the fuel tap at the tank .sometimes theres a filter there that can choke

  15. take the plug out, turn bike upside down and kick it over until no more moisture comes out ,fit fresh air filter ,clean out carb and it will start eventually .remember to change gearbox oil .if you are going to leave it overnight spray wd40 down the bore but the sooner you get it started the better

  17. do a test on it first .dont buy another stator get yours repaired by steve hardaker at motoplat it will outlast a genuine beta one
  18. do an ohms test on the stator should read about 430 .my money would be on the stator packed up.

  22. take out your champion spark plug and drop it in the wheely bin and replace with a bp5es ngk plug .champion plugs are sh-te
  23. as a quick fix option get a 5mm drill and drill a hole into the space between the shaft and the kickstart so as half the hole is in the shaft and half in the kickstart and hammer in a bit of 5mm round bar and tighten up .i know its hidously rough but the shaft is goosed anyway and its a quick fix option .i did it on an dt175 years ago and it lasted the life of the bike
