  1. take the needle roller back out of the affected side .put a pair of vicegrips on it to shut the crack and run a weld over the outside and it will be as good as new
  2. i had one and liked it. pretty sturdy things take quite a lot of abuse, heavy by todays standards make sure the swinging arm bearings, linkage arent worn, spokes are tight and its not rattling and it should be ok
  3. why would you want to do that. surely the whole point of twinshocks is to ride them as they are ,as for converting monos to twinshocks just dont see the point .if you want to ride a bike with discs and monoshock why not just buy an evo and be done with it
  4. think ive sussed it this time
  5. yes a great buy get it bought before somebody else snaps it up. at that money you cant go wrong heres a pic of mine
  6. probably the best bike available for twinshock trials plus its a great investment . whats the asking price by the way if you dont mind me asking
  7. nice with coke and 2 chunks of ice im on my fourth (typical friday night )
  8. do it somewhere warm ,make sure every trace of the old sticker glue is removed clean the area with contact cleaner or brake cleaner etc and warm new stickers with a hairdryer before fitting
  9. you chose well ash just keep the air cleaner clean and grease the swinging arm and linkage bearings 2 or 3 times a year and you wont go far wrong .i give mine a spray all over with wd40 after every wash too to keep the fastenings from rusting (i know some people dont recomend it but ive not had any bother in all the time ive done it )
  10. not really the end of the world if the casing is rotton as £80 fixes it . i wouldnt walk away from an otherwise good bike just for the sake of the casing
  11. they are designed to be like that if they were a really neat fit they would bind and also cause rapid wear of the basket so just ignore the rattle as they all do it
  12. lets not kid ourselves bantams are still s**te they are just easier to ride than a big fourstroke in classic trials as for those suzuki gt s i dont think i ever seen one running on all cylinders at the same time
  13. excellent ive had one for about 5 years .try makro though i think i only paid £60 for mine well worth the money
  14. ive got a 2011 evo and in my opinion a pair of ten year old showas are still better than the piaollis.i cant tell the difference between full and no rebound dampening on my evo
  15. why bother with the wheels just get yourself a set of s3 rim tapes for your own wheels look just as good and a lot cheaper
  16. wash them with the pressure washer when you are washing your bike .thats what i do with all my boots and it doesnt seem to harm them
  17. whats wrong with the 2 greggs pies for sustanance before you start then a steak bake when you refuel to keep you ticking over then a tub of mini doughnuts waiting for you when you finish. all the food groups covered plus your salt intake in 1 carrier bag. sorted.

  19. trial at langton lees farm duns on the 4th march
  20. try cleaning the area with contact cleaner then mixing up some araldite and put a small amount in the affected area, wait to harden then rub down gently with 1200 wet and dry and it will probably be fine . i done this to a fantic stantion about a year ago and its still as good as new and it was badly pitted

  24. try a stud removing screw with some heat first drilling tends to veer off and start drilling into the soft alloy of the caliper . it doesnt need to be a bleed nipple u replace it with .a bolt with a fibre or copper washer will do the same job
