  1. Sometimes if you ride with your foot hovering on the pedal for a while it gets everything red hot and that helps
  2. Lampkin’s sells a kit to do away with the headlight
  3. Best to pull them apart and flush them out as there is always oily gunge lying at the bottom of the legs if putting fresh oil in
  4. S3 hard rock are hard to beat for the money £50 ish

I think it’s an unusual fine thread on the fantics
  7. Not worth restoring that better trying to fettle what you’ve got and just make the best of that .it might ride surprisingly well with that four stroke in it

  13. Head gasket pressurising the cooling side
  14. Both the same use what’s cheapest
  15. I’ve ran fully synthetic at 70 to 1 for about the last 15 years in everything i own ie beta ,Fantic, strimmer ,disc cutter ,chainsaw even my 4 stroke lawnmower and not had a peep of bother from anything .it seems to me the detergent side of oil is the most important bit of it as lubrication part over exceeds all the specs anyway
  16. You won’t be saying that when you spill petrol on it
  17. Waste of time spending money on high end chains and anchors as the cheapest cordless grinder with a 1mm disc cuts them like a knife going through butter and is quiet. spend your money and time on beefing up your garage security to keep them out in the first place
  18. No where near enough bike sales in the trials market to cover the investment needed to develop a hybrid bike
  19. Jet wash them at the same time as the bike after a trial ,leave to dry for a week and wear them again.my first set lasted 7 year with that care and attention so no complaints
  20. All balls will probably do a kit for this .alternatively buy the bearings ,bushes individually from simply bearings
  21. No chance of getting 2 bikes in a compact dualiner I had one and you could only shoehorn 1 bike in diagonally or take seats out
  22. Auto smart bike cleaner then spray on rhino shine
  23. technowaldo replied to tyguy's topic in Yamaha
2k car paint better than all that heat resistant stuff even for exhaust Down pipes doesn't burn off and a great long lasting finish
  24. Rub it down as best you can then prime it with plastic primer and then 2 or 3 coats of 2k paint and it will look better than new remember to paint the insides of the mudguards first or it will look s-- t when you build it up
