Hi Guys, I`m new to the site. I`ve just bought a 2002 scorpa SY250. It runs really sweet but the clutch doesn`t dis-engage straight away when I pull the lever in. It continues driving, only for a second or two but it`s really annoying. I`ve run it until it`s warm, around half an hour, but it still does it. I don`t know what oil is in the gearbox but I have thought about trying a thinner g/box oil, something like ATF fluid, will that help. Any thoughts, ideas or suggestions thoroughly appreciated. 4. Firstly, a massive heartfelt Thank You to Jon "Lebowski" for letting me test ride the Scorpa a whole Wobbler days worth on Saturday and riding with me and coaching me, so much so that between him and Chris they assured at least 5 clear yellow sections for me. (one took about 15 tries in total on my own after they moved on and I chose to stay) Jon and I had been speaking about me buying his older bike off him as he has a Beta Rev3 now that his confidence and skill has improved so much after a year on the Scorpa. On Saturday he brought it 80 miles to a great venue about 25 miles from my home to test out and decide if I really wanted to buy it..... I know only one other g…

Don't tell anyone but i've snealed over here from the GasGas forum, started trialling last year with a 97 JTX250 which isn't a bad bike from my perspective but now fancy something a little newer and really like the look of the Scorpa's budget wise would be around

It is or was black and yellow! Question is - whats it gonna cost me to repair? just a ball park figure? (UK prices) Also, anyone got any data on identifying its year and precise model/ cc etc? Thanks Oh and one more thing anyone got a manual of any sort for this bike? Cheers Pete

I bought a 2006 Scorpa a few weeks ago and the carb was really blocked and would only run on choke. Not sure how long previous owner had used it like this. Anyway cleaned the carb and it ran fine. I did my first trial in 30 years on Friday and although the bike seemed crisp on the throttle and revved cleanly before entering the section, it seemed to bog and cut out when in the section after trying to open it up after having closed the throttle. It also backfired several times when trying to start it after it cut out and a couple of times when I hit the kill button as if there was unburnt fuel lurking about. The air screw is set at 2.5 turns out, the aircleaner is clean, i…

Hi all, First post, looking for some detailed info. First, some background. I'm a metal fabricator and have built several custom cycles for my wife for Off Road/ Enduro/ Hare Scramble use. She's 5'2" tall and very skilled but she has trouble touching the ground in some of our extremely technical terrain, especially when the turns are VERY sharp combined with slow speeds. So, my newest brainchild is to (finally) start with a good trials bike, such as a SY250F and make it trail worthy. My plan is to morph a subframe and seat from a KTM or other brand and make the bike look and feel more like a Medium bike rather than a mini or standard sized bike. Again, the fabrication …

  20. When I look at specs for these bikes they all show the same 74KG weight? It doesn't seem logical that there is no difference between the air cooled and water cooled models. Can anyone help with the actual wieghts of any of these bikes? Thanks!
