Does anyone make an aftermarket tailpipe for the 250R?One that's easy to re-pack?I know of a couple of SY's that are fitted with modified motocross or enduro tailpipes but they appear to be a bit on the bulky side.I have re-packed mine but it wasn't a simple job as the pipe has a perforated inner skin about ten mill distant from the outer. The gap between the two skins is densely packed. You then have more packing material and then the perforated "through"tube. All this makes cutting the end off and replacing it a bit of a nightmare.Any ideas?

I have just enquired about having a stiffer spring made for my rear shock. I presume...because I can't find any info anywhere...that the spring on my 03 scorpa sy250 is suitable for about 10 - 11 stone-ish. I am a rather god-like 15 stone and think I could benefit from a spring thats 30% stiffer.(ignore the math just a guess really as I can't imagine it as being 50% stiffer, I think that would be too stiff) The price for 1 off new spring is

Now then, I had a bit of an argument with a rather large rock today and the rock mostly won!!!! and I split my tank (I can see the pound signs in Mr Birketts eyes lighting up as I write this). What is the best way to repair it?? I think I will do a temp repair with some Araldite just to get me through the jersey 2 day.

Well, it's a very common issue, my wheels are a bit scratched. Just wondering if anybody knew a match for the brownish/black paint on the rims so I could touch up, or if there are other good fixes to this?

Have just had my first trial on my new 2011 280 Scorpa: Faults: Paint work on the tank is really naff! and is already peeling around the screw holes. Stickers have been put on by someone with 10 minutes remaining on his shift. Bike stalled numerous times until I discovered the fuel line was twisted under the tank. Spark plug cap is a pain to get back on, not alot of room. Quality of the front mudguard is very poor, very dull plastic. Good points: Excellent handling, very predictable. Motor is a dream, last of the old sherco motors so hopefully all the problems should be ironed out. Suspension is spot on strait from the crate. I have owned 7 scorpa's and still …
