Yesterday i bought an 2006 scorpa sy 250. Started first kick, warmed up everything was fine. However today its not. Pulled it out of the garage this afternoon and it won't start. It has good compression, good spark and plenty of fuel getting through. Had the plug out 4 times to clean it and heat it, but still no joy!! If anyone has any advice or anything at all it would be much appreciaed!!! Cheers, Tom

Just wanted to say Hi, I have just bought this 2005 SY175f 143cc I am really pleased with it, but I have no idea of it's history and therefore do not know if its had any of the common modifications done, I am keen to get the bike as good as it can be and would be grateful to hear of your good and bad expierences, what works, what doesn't work, what to look out for, which mods are worth the money etc..

as title, have got a 175 (163cc) and would like to source a piston just in case, also would not mind going a little bigger on capacity, I know 150cc pistons are readily available for TTR yams so they would fit but apart from christian rayer who sells 200 kits (and wont reply to several emails ?) I cannot source a suitable piston, has anyone found an alternative ? i.e. a big bore tlr or something ??

I've recently rebuilt my 06 sy250 and I started it up Saturday and noticed that the fan is always on. It's probably not a bad thing but it would be nice to get it working properly and not flat out all the time. Does anyone know why this could be?

my old man's just bought an 05 sy250 2t and the front disc seems to be loose on the hub (when you grab the fron brake you can feel and see the hub and wheel move about an inch even though the disc is locked) bolts seem tight enough and the right length, the shop it came from said ths is normal and they all do it, but on my little ty125 it doesn't! anyone know if that is the case or is something up cheers,

Hi I am new to this forum, Lots of great information that has helped in locating and fixing a problem with my "new" bike. I have had this for 1 year and every time I went for a "long" ride the bike would run out of fuel when running at 3/4 to full throttle, riding between sections that are quite some distance apart. Stopping and waiting for a small moment the engine then slowly returned to its happy state. I had looked at float level, Jet sizes, and float jet size. none of these fixed the issue. I increased the float jet size from the factory 2.5mm to 3.0mm, no luck on running out of fuel. I the pulled the fuel tap off the tank and disassembled this and the plastic t…
