I just won the E Bay auction for a former Donato Miglio works Garelli Trial 320. I am very excited to get my hands on this rare and interesting bike. I wonder if there's anyone out there who knows anything about them or has one? I searched the web and found a guy in CZ who is looking for kickstarter parts. I am certain the kicker mechanism is a weakness of this machine. I will be trying to resolve this problem enough to at least ride the old girl a little bit. Heres a picture of the beast. Sincerely, Jay Lael.

There was a bit of chat about someone looking for Cota 123 parts a few days ago. On my last visit to a bike wrecker at Tiaro, Queensland, Australia, the owner had most of a Cota 123 for sale. If anyone is interested in it, please contact the owner (Ross) on +61 (0) 7 4129 2771. Please consider the time zone before you phone Ross.

Visit My Website I have had an engine, that looks the same as the one in the picture in my garage for many years. The other day I decided to give it a clean and see exactly what it is from. The only markings on the engine are G-B on the top of the left hand crankcase.I was just wondering if it is anything more exciting than a standard KT engine.

Hello everyone and all. This is my first post and I'm sorry it's turned out to be a question. But I could do with a little help identifying what cc my ossa is. Now I have had a look throughout the forum for a few months now as well as the rest of the web but to no avail, so please forgive me if the info I require is on here somewhere already I've just failed to find it. It was sold as a 250 but after a quick web search I thought it to be a 310. But now after more searching and reading I'm left a little confused. This is what I know: it's a mk3 frame, with the layed down shocks. Both frame and engine have matching numbers starting with 57****, which the charts I've c…

Anyone know the factory position of the cylinder rubber pieces on a 1974 ty 250? I should have taken a photo 3 years ago but did not. I've seen at least 3 different photos. Not a big deal but as a restoration I would like to make it factory correct. thanks.

Wondering at what rpm the 348 makes it's power. In the manual, there is a graph that indicates speed vs rpm for each of the six gears, but no indication of the power band curve.

Hi there! Can anyone please confirm how to fit a kill switch to Montesa 247 Cota. Is it just a case of connecting one of the wires to the lower terminal on the coil, i.e. the terminal with the blue wire attached, and the other wire to an earth on the frame or bars? This is what is stated in the Clymer manual for electronic type ignition but it doesn't mention how to fit switch for standard points type system. Jamieson

Hi Guys Although I specifically want some new levers for my 1974 TY250 I thought it made more sense to ask in here as it is a more generic question What levers would you recommend ? I currently have some VERY nasty generic ones on the bike and need to change them asap Also do all the trials levers on the market accept the same size cable barrels ? Thanks in advance for any help

Yesterday I found this 10M survivor in Vancouver, BC. The little rascall is 99.5% complete and all original. The only thing I can find missing is the tail light lense. I couldn't wait to fiddle (fettle) with it today, so I drained the old gas, put new gas in, took the carb off and apart, cleaned it, and guess what? It runs! The lights and horn work too! All the chrome needs to be redone, but miraculously the fenders and all the rubber is excellent including the original Pirellis.

Hi All, I would like to replace what I believe is the original 43 yo needle and needle jet in my KT, I have found a NOS needle (5D1/part#16009-066) on ebay but cannot find a needle jet (series 172 O/8 or maybe 0/8) part #16017-087, hard to tell if it's a "O" or "0". I can see from various Mikuni websites that the outer dimensions of the readily available series 182 needle jet are the same as the Kwaka's series 172 jet, but I don't know if the internal dimensions the same. IE: Does series 172 O/8 or 0/8 = series 182 O/8 ? I also realise that if I find a modern day Mikuni Needle Jet that matches the old version that I will also need to upgrade the MJ to a newer …

The body and frame parts I’m not so sure about. We need the following: muffler... ...carb kit... ...seat... ...all cables... ...decals... ...intake tube from carb to engine...since it has the Amal carb the intake tube appears different(smaller id) SWM? ...air filter... ...rear sprocket... ...front and rear fenders ...what handlebars do you recommend?.. thanks
