hi, i have a 1967 greeves that came with a 2t engine in it. it was not untill my dad and his mate don (morley) confirmed it as an anglian. the G. R. A said it came from a dealer in leeds called whylde, has anyone come across this dealer? also i need a 37a engine , 161/f/c971 was the one fitted from new. any info would be great

I have just had my Tiger cub engine rebuilt and its popping back when I close the trottle, I have a keihen carburetor is it just a question off jetting main jet as tick over etc seems to be OK?

Does anyone know the jet sizes, slide cutaway etc that best suit a 199c trials cub fitted with a Del-Orto carb. PVL ignition will be fitted what is the best timing position to start with.

Hi - I have just put my C15 engine back together after fixing a number of oil leaks (I hope!). It never ran very well before - it seemed to never idle properly. I've only owned it for a short while and managed to nurse it through for its first job which was just to deliver my daughter to her outdoor wedding (about 100 yards up a drive!) without getting oil on her dress! Now I have it all back together, it starts easily and I seem to be able to get a lovely, smooth, medium speed idle but as soon as I open the throttle it bogs and dies. I am out of my depth and need some help - maybe a sequence of things to eliminate/try? It is a fairly standard looking engin…

As I inch closer to being half way done assembling my motor, I need to decide what to use for a gearbox sprocket. I have a 18T crank sprocket and a 52 on my rear wheel. Standard SS ratios in a dedicated trials machine. My local suppler (bsaunitsingles) has suggested a 13T as a good starting point but there is also a 12T available. I ran out of "meaningful" progress while waiting for parts to I took the case covers to the polishing wheel. Ill never do that again but it sure looks nice.

Does anyone know where I can get hold of a fibre glass cover for a primary drive cover? I'm looking for one with a flat bulge (if that makes sense) at the crank end? SM Products sell some but they have a huge round bulge on their ones. Thanks

Can anybody confirm for me that Cub sprockets fit the later type Bantam rear hubs i.e. D10 - D14. Lots of people seem to offer rear sprockets for trials Cubs but not for Bantams, I thought they were the same fitment ???

I've nearly got my bsa c15/b40 built and was wondering how I go about registering it to get a v5 and have an age related plate I believe the frame to be a 1961 b40 and the engine is a 1965 usa f type c15 engine.. will this be tax free and will I need an mot? We're do I start cheers luke

Anybody tried or have knowledge of the big bore kits for the villiers A series bottom ends.Ive been told that you can get them out to 350cc is this correct.Who makes these conversions and what sort of a price,will the crank/big end, clutch and gear box stand the extra power and can you get away with rejetting standard amal carb. Is it a worth while conversion cos i'm thinking along the lines of building a jimmy with one of these engines. Colin

Hi ,im interested in buying a 350 bullet and was wondering if anyone could tell me how to spot a fake etc ,is there a certain way a genuine trials bike would be numbered on the motor and frame ?

Should the chain case of my Cub be completely devoid of oil? The bike was to be put through the workshop before it was delivered to me so it should be right as far as oils are concerned but when I removed the chain case drain last night nothing came out. I then removed the side case and it was totally dry in there.... There is no gasket either so I assume this must be right but it seems odd to me. It has PVL ignition. I was a little bit alarmed to find that there was only 50ml of oil in the gearbox and have now changed that to 200cc of EP90. So far I have only run it around my drive for 20 minutes or so in total but I don't want to run it again until I know that eve…

Has anyone used a wassell carb on there pre 65 trials bike if so what bike and what do you think to them.. are they any good?
