It was inevitable that a Certain Mr Bou was going to be World Champion barring a disater and with number 6 in the bag any many would agree that number 7 will come next year equalling DL and JT's records. His threat the last 2 rounds have come from Cabby and Fuji (he has got to be thinking about retirement?) both have been World Champions and Raga and Fajardo banging in the odd result, but no other threat. Well this weekend was the first WTC round, and a 2 day as well. Yet not one post on here!

Why is it when I attend World rounds in Europe i.e recently France and Andorra there is no charge to view? For the privileged of attending the UK round I have to pay £30. Don't get me wrong, I can afford £30, just throwing it out there for discussion...........

Very sad to read of Browns and Casales injuries. If browns injury is correctly reported he is likely to be out for 3 months or more, then there is the time after that to try to rebuild his confidence. Fujigas missed much of last year and even Bou was not exempt from injury. I feel the increased risk of injury is the inevitable consequence of ever lighter bikes, grippier tyres and more extreme sections. There is a trial on youtube (Germany I think) which shows riders riding across what looks like a concrete dam with a gap in it. No great skill required to ride across it but the penalty for wobbling off would be severe. Clerks of the course need to reduce the severity of …

Many opinions regarding non stop pre season. Thought I'd post a link to a vid from today. If you where the observer and followed the FIM rules (non stop), what would YOU give fujigas in these sections?? To avoid interpretation, here are the crystal clear rules -

I think my maths is right here and that with tonight's victory Toni Bou has now toppled Dougie Lampkin in terms of world championship titles and now has 13 world championships under his belt. 7 indoor (x-trial) titles : 2007-2013 6 outdoor titles : 2007-2012 He also shows little sign of being caught by any of today's riders and unless tomorrow's stars make a very quick leap I can't see him being challenged for another 5 years (another 9 championships) I think its fair to say he is now without doubt the greatest trials rider ever. Can he be caught by anyone in the next few years??

Was the observer the only one to see Lampkin disrupt a section marker at section 12's first loop on Sunday? Did anyone get photos? Was this a home field call for Fugi-Gas or was the observer & ?

Any speculation on who are the yet to be announced Ossa works riders? (See front page for details) I hope it is M. Andrews and D Thorpe as they will not have far to go!

Sorry If this has been covered, i've been away from trials for a while doing enduro, so this is new news to me. Anyone think Doug can nail another podium 1st on the Beta ...... or has he spent to long on the 4rt to pick up a 2t and ride it as well as he did ? If Bou's anything to go by then the 4rt seemed to bring him on ! ........................ Hope Doug finds his his 100th on the Beta, good luck for 2008 to the Lampkin clan.

Hi I was wondering why there are no American riders in world trials? I've seen them in trial des nation but not FIM indoor and outdoor world championship Do they not cross the pond? Rich
