On the 21st April at 11:30pm UK Trials dealer SplatShop were hit by a break-in. 5 people were involved with the burglary and came in 2 vehicles, please see the pictures below. Good Morning Woke this morning 11th Nov to find that my my new to me (10 days) 2016 Beta Evo 300 has been stolen from a heavy metal shed in my back garden. They also took my sons Cube Mountain Bike. A friend had a TY250 twin shock stolen white, frame number and engine number 483-300903 and his friends Fantic 301 with a twinshock conversion, so a fairly unique bike, colour Red, frame number is 7378 engine number 7445. Police think that they were an organised/planned thieft so if you hear of either of the bikes please let me know (matt12752000@yahoo.co.uk)...and maybe we can stop these nasty people that want to stop the rest of us honest people enjoying the things we work hard to buy! With the issues of bike theft and trying to prevent it, what are your views and recommendations, when selling a bike. I did think about not allowing buyers to come to my house, rather meet them somewhere like outside the local Police station, but won't this raise there own suspicions? Anyway what do people recommend, how have you gone about previous bike sales?

Last week some toerag pinched my Armstrong CMT310 from my house in Derby. I've been totally underwhelmed by the response from the police (Nil). Still, I suppose it's my fault for owning a trials bike in the first place. It was road registered, but had no lights, though I guess the number plate will be long gone. I know it's not the greatest trials bike ever built, but I liked it and I'm mighty ticked off. My mate had his garage broken into on Weds night, one of four in his street to be turned over. Thieves took a TTR 125 and a 2006 SY 250 Scorpa, they ditched the TTR up the road, probably as they couldnt get it to start without a key but the Scorpa is gone. This guy has only just come back into trials and helped us mark out last weekends event, the bike is not insured. Please contact me if your offered a 2006 model Scorpa this bike has an in line stat between the cylinder head and radiator which is unusual on a scorpa and the sump guard has been drilled by the water pump and clutch cover, it also has a birkett modified water pump and the rear mudguard is cracked.

Got woke up this morning at 2-20am alarm on garage going off ,dressed as quickly possible and to the garage in record time to find garage door bent open from bottom,the door handle and padlock to bottom right corner entact....But my Gas Gas 280 txt ltd edition 03 model GONE... Bast/ds Stolen from Doncaster area South Yorks. The bike was red plastics in above average condition . Hampshire police have found two trials bikes in West Wood, Netley Abbey, Southampton. Presumed stolen as well hidden. Could people share or post to other groups to find owners please.

Hi eveyone, I am new to the world of Trials.... & a late starter too ~ Just wanted to inform the Bike World of an unhappy story. On the 18th of November I collected a '94 Gas Gas 250 from Cheshire that I had bought from an online site. The bike looked great & was just what I was looking for. I stayed at a friends house overnight in Nuneaton on my return journey. The horror when I saw the empty trailer in the morning. I had reversed the trailer & the car along side the house so that the trailer could not be taken. I had not given any thought to the fact that the bike could be lifed off the trailer & over the car......... Take notice all other new boys…

Not my bike but thought I would share this, the bike was stolen on Sunday the 26th June after a local trial.
