Hi All, As above, would like a pic or two if possible on how this plate should look with regard to things like size of the digits and is Engine 348.5cc or 348.5 cm\3, also is weight 89kg or 89KG,just stuff like that. Reason I ask is that my Jumbo that I bought a few years ago is missing the plate on the headstock and I have recently purchased a blank plate from Martin in the UK, just want to populate this plate as accurately as possible when I eventually blast and repaint the frame (Suburu WRX Blue from years ago is close I believe). If you can help with a pic just tape over your frame/engine numbers if you don't want to divulge. Thanks. Pic of my headstock…

What is the difference between a Can Am Armstrong and a SWM, on a picture that I have they look the same. Guy

I have found this to fit perfectly once the locating tabs around the carb mating face are gently ground away with a dremel or similar, my pic shows after grinding/shaving. It suits a 40 mm spigot diameter which is what one wants for the 28mm Dellorto fitted to the Jumbo which has the factory fitted machined sleeve to take it from 36mm to 40mm OD, the distance from barrel to carb is spot on and 75mm between fixings. https://www.jetsrus.com/individual_parts/002_052_su.html

Hi All, can anybody help i went to change the oil on my 320 and i took the bolt out that is the kickstop gear stop ,i have the clutch cover off and the clutch basket but a cant see how to pre load the kickstart gear/spring? . Cheers Paul . 07989 313652

Strange, just been getting her ready to drop off to be blasted and powdered coated and was checking the frame number details and found blue under the black, odd? The blue paint is 'in' the frame numbers suggesting it has may of been blue from new, yes, she could of been blasted & repainted back years ago but I know from doing this myself with very fine beads it can be a very difficult to get the old paint 'out' of the numbers. This attracted my interest and further inspection shows some more of this blue in some of the deeper frame treads where bolts don't seat right in and take the paint 'out'. we all know the whys and wherefores, and risks of late nite beer and evil bay.... just bought a 320 here, 1980,......"runs perfectly"........ soulds like a tractor on one cylinder were can i get pistons, (nikasil bore?) and a conrod kit? what about airbox and carb rubbers? Martin M?? any idea what a fulll engine rebuild will cost? Anybody recommend anyone to do it. i can only split fanny cos the gearbox doesnt fall all over the place....

Hi all, I would appreciate any ideas as my Jumbo is now generally running fine but when going down a hill or slope with the throttle closed it needs the clutch pulled and a bit of revs to clear it out before going on. You can use the decomp.-valve to clear it but a few revs are better. One thing I must add is that it has a rear silencer from the TL320 which has 2 smaller exit tubes (th Jumbo should have one bigger one). The silencer is not restricted though. The carb was jetted according to the works specs. without reed valves as from the engine number it should be a late bike.

Can someone offer a recommendation to a carburetor (and jet sizes) to use on a Jumbo (350) ? My Jumbo doesnt have the reeds and is not the rotary induction. A Delorto PHBH 30mm is the OEM carb for my Jumbo. I'd prefer to use a round slide carburetor. So, Im thinking a newer style Delorto or a Nibbi. Im not interested in using a OKO (I rentlessely tried a 28mm with no luck). My Jumbo engine was just rebuilt (top and bottom end) and there are no air leaks. No matter what I do, I can't get rid of a lean condition found below 1/4 throttle....and still have mid and top correct.... it seems to be either or. so, Im at the point to try a new carb. Thanks.

Hi I need a LHS fork slider to get my Guanaco out on the sections, the Left Hand Side for bottom (slider) has cracked at the spindle clamp, anyone got a spare or fork leg or forks for sale please. Thanks Mark

I have a newer style clutch cover with the larger actuator balls I would like to install on my 1980 SWM TL320. I would like to see if it does pull a little easier and my original cover has a small crack in it and needs repairing. I also have the newer pressure plate. Do I need anything else? The hub from the ATK (Rotax 244) parts book has a different part number than the older style SWM. Will I need to change that too? Thanks

After much neglect I've gotten back to my Jumbo 350 project bike. The previous owner was about 90% done with the restoration when he took ill and was unable to complete. It's missing the front brake lever and I'm not sure what kind of throttle and clutch levers are on it. Could someone please tell me what levers and throttle were originally used on this bike? I'm hoping they used the same Domino gear that was on the Fantics as they work well for me. If possible I'd like to stay original or at least period correct. Also regarding the secondary clutch lever under the tank (not sure what else to call it) is angled slightly off of 90 degrees. Should it lean towards, or a…

Would some kind soul like to measure the distance between centres on the 320TL front brake stay (Marzocchi forks) for me please? I've now sourced the proper forks and wheel but need the brake stay yet and thought I would manufacture one myself out of aluminium rather than try to source one.

I have a really bad misfire on my 1980 TL320 and am looking for advice. My bike starts 1st or 2nd kick and ticks over great and runs at slow speed fine but as soon as I open the throttle it starts to backfire, I have changed points, condenser, coil, plug lead and plug to try and cure this fault. I have also cleaned out the carb and fitted an in-line fuel filter. There is a chance that when I reassembled the engine that I may have put the disc valve in slightly the wrong position but have yet to check this, I wonder if this would make much of a difference to the performance, as, if it is in the wrong place it will only be out by one or two splines.
