Anyone have any idea what the spring rate is on a 2017 Ice Hell? I can drop it and check, but I figured I'd ask first. I ask because I've got the preload ring backed all the way out, and I only barely get maybe a half inch of sag. I also feel like the back of the bike is bouncing off bigger hits rather than compressing into them (I weigh 63 kilos, 140lbs) .

Where can I buy a rear shock protector (rubber flap type) for my 2020 300c Dougie Lampkin vertigo? Or what do you use? Please advice,, Im new to trials. Thanks in advance

  5. Started by Canario,

I want to exchange the stock spring of the rear shock against a stiffer one. After looking into the spare parts book and reviewing the assembly directly at the bike, the plan would be: - Loosen both screws DIN 912 M10x80 holding the dog bones - Remove the rear screw of them completely and swivel the dog bones in order to be able to loose and remove the screw DIN 7984 M10x40 that fixes the lower end of the rear shock - Remove the upper screw and the rear shock Does this make sense or do other parts need to be disassembled first in the area of the lower end of the rear shock? Thanks, Canario.

Hi all, I snapped a link on my Regina chain on my DL12. I bought a 120 link RK 529 MXU chain and figured I could cut it down. However I can't find a half link for this chain or a rivet/master link (as the Vertigo needs it a 103 link chain it appears) I'm going to return the RK chain but before I buy a new Regina 103 link chain, does anyone know where you can get a master link/rivet link for a Regina 520 chain? I figure I'll just fix this one. I've currently bodge it by pushing a rivet pin out, putting a new half link in and pushing the old pin in. But this has of course created a stiff link. All …

  11. Hi everyone, Off to the Test day at Earl Shilton and hoping to secure myself a new bike, but, how has everyone's user experience been? in regards too build quality, cleanliness of airbox and niggly bits that need sorting or are an easy fix for a dab hand on the tools?? just don't fancy being too much of a test subject Thanks

I did some searching, but didn’t see any answer. Is there any sort of Service Manual available for the Vertigo? software for the FI with diagnostics etc?

My 2016 Camo had been working great, then started having shifting troubles. The lever sticks in up position after shifting up, can’t make another shift until push down slightly and then back up, almost like using a ratchet driver. In neutral the lever has a lot of free play in both directions. Any ideas what could be wrong?

Hi As the title says, has anyone tried softening a Vertigo, (of any cc) by either adding an additional base gasket or a head insert? If so was there a discernible change and how does the alteration work with the fixed EFI maps?

  17. Started by Jaclyn,

After doing a ride at altitude this past weekend, now back at normal riding level I am finding my bike will just stall if sitting at idle. My partner's bike is doing the same. it's like I now always need to have a little bit of throttle on to keep the bike from dying. It also seems a little less powerful at the lower revs but that could just be my imagination. Bikes are 21 R3 and 22 JBR

  19. Sold my ‘17 Montesa 4rt and bought a left over ‘19 Vertical Combat. I love this bike! So much easier to ride in all respects... except one, starting. If I have a tree to lean against or a rock to stand on where I can get up over the bike, I can start it 1st or 2nd kick. But if none of those available no way. What am I doing wrong? How do I position my body to get enough leverage to kick it over????? i tried using the side stand to support the bike while that worked, it bends the side stand.
