Strange Carb Electrics Problem!
Its the float valve the gassers come with relatively slow flow float valve either a number 200 or 250. GG uk or dellorto UK can supply a 300 float valve which will cure this problem. It only happens if you maintain high rpm for a while like on the road or a fast track. Basically at high rpm your draining the bowl faster than its being re filled.

Not Looking Too Good ?
- Castrol A747?
Ipone do one that smells like strawberrys ? or Avgas can produce a strange smell- Not Looking Too Good ?
I said some of this when the bike was first launched but perhaps its worth repeating Why are people anti xispa and so keen to pick faults ? the quality of all of the bikes needs to inprove and I had hoped that if the xispa was cheap the other manufacturers would have had to look at the quality of their products to justify the extra money. here are some examples of quality issues with the other manufacturers My 290 sherco bust the kickstart when the bike backfired the rear shock failed after 4 trials the standard footpegs were useless when wet, your feet slipped of them. I was told to glue the fan unit to the radiator so that the unit didnt wear through the radiatior. and the Sherco is by no means the worst bike on the market, for example the guy who posted about a broken frame and swinging arm on his Evo is not the first I have heard of. Gas Gas have certainly had their problems with the Pro and at nearly- A/b Championship 2010
I think he must be kidding If not can we delete this thread, this is just nonsense. How can you possibly request that the British trials championship doesnt include rounds which you deem to be too far from the Isle of White ? Have you seen where the Isle of White is in relation to the rest of the British Isles ?- 280 Vs 300
I think all of the team riders use a flywhel weight. When ragas bike was tested in motocross digital I was amazed to find he was running a flywheel weight.- New Model From Montesa..... When?
well they could start with fuel injection that works at about 800rpm rather than 1800rpm, I think this is why the Mont wont recover grip, it cant go slow enough on the over run when you shut it off. Tank under the seat as sherco are doing would be good if it runs ok just two ideas- Evo Virgin
I only called it a skip wagon once- The Times They Are A Changin'
Honda havent continuosly been in the trials market they have always flitted in and out as it suited them, which they are perfectly entitled to do. the tlr 200 was released early eighties but the tlr 250 was the first serious production attempt I can remember. I think yamaha dropped out for a couple of years in the early eighties before the mono came out.- Kidding Ourselves ?
We have had much discussion this last few months on the potential change back to no stop at all levels. As Mick Wren has mentioned elsewhere there is little wrong with the Trials Scene in the UK with all champioships thriving with perhaps the exception of the Championship Route at BTC level. To be fair the championship route was never intended for the masses so maybe 10 riders isnt actually a problem. I've got no problem giving the ACU some credit for this, they set up the infrastructure under which the vast majority of trials run, by that I mean , Insurance, championships, training, calenders etc I prefer a long one or two lap trials and these events tend to suit no stop, certainly in the North. But trials needs to attract many riders of many different age groups and abilities. I recently rode the White Rose, its always been a tough event and in recent years has gone down the Multi Route road with 3 courses. There was nothing wrong with the trial this year but I think it illustrated one of our sports current issues which we will struggle to resolve. Sam Haslam won the Hard course on 8 marks lost cleaning the majority of sections, the last finisher on that route lost 100 marks Oliver Sharp won the 50/50 route on 51 marks, the last finisher on this route lost 161 S Hall won the clubman route on 51 and the last finisher lost 149 It would be unfair to name the last finisher but when you think about it thats an awfully big ability difference between the guy who was last on the easy route and Sam Haslam. So whilst I may think No Stop is the way to go on this evidence I cant ever see that Sam and the last clubman can really compete on the same course whatever the rules. If you made the White Rose non stop I dont think many people losing 80 and 90 marks on the 50/50 route would really move up a level to the top course, they are losing plenty marks already. The other thing I noticed at the white rose was the number of people who are around 40 years of age, there seemed to be very few young riders present. Long term thats a problem if such trials are to continue. Looking at the WTC no stop will be cheaper for the factories if there are no minders to pay for at WTC level and will also reduce the organisers headache in terms of the number of officials BUT given the range of ability in modern trials the chances are it will do little to increase entries. My view is becoming that the long term success of trials has perhaps got a lot less to do with the observing rules and a lot more to do with the CoC. In future the CoC is going to have to decide who to please and people will need to know that before the trial. We could overhaul the grading system to make it clear who a trial is intended for as at present an expert is not really an expert countrywide but only in their centre. We have to accept however that we cant really run a single event for everyones ability whatever the rules, the days of a good centre runner being able to do the British trials championship and WTC are gone whatever the rules are.- New Model From Montesa..... Hang on one of my pals has a mitani 280 kit on his skip wagon (he's a crazy fool) and there was no need to modify the crankcase mouth. Now I dont know exactly what cc the Mitani 280 conversion is but I would find it utterly hilarious if TRW went to that much trouble for 3cc extra.- New Model From Montesa..... When?
is GasGasBen related to atomant ?? seems to get on really with Dabster Ben, Dabster knows Wiggy rather well and owned a 4rt himself so he probaly knows the diffference between a trw mont and a std one. dont forget whatever we post is just our opinion after all now lets all be nice.......- Barry Roads Is On Tc

looks like a very early 323 model, either 84 or first batch in 85 as it has the fibre glass tank which was replaced with a thermoplastic inner tank and fiberglass cover on the later models. It also has the cast footrest brackets rather than the steel plate brackets which were more durable.- Novogar This Weekend
Ishy thats a very good idea getting an early number in a Novagar single lap trial can often spoil the event as the sections change so much so why not let the early numbers observe a section then drop back for the rest of the event. Every one then gets a turn at the back, they would need additional time allowance but should be able to work that out. - Castrol A747?
