Alot of trials are multi route, so say three no stop routes, three stop routes, might not be easy to lay out or observe ?
  7. b40rt replied to cabby's topic in Sherco
If your plugs not wet look to the carb, might get away with draining it in situ, but better to strip and blow through every orifice with an air gun, or carb cleaner, or WD40, etc

If the flywheel moves, ie when the key sheers the timing is out. Is the plug wet, have you tried mix down the plug hole ?

1 Is the plug wet ? 2 Change the plug, they don't always work when under compression. 3 Flywheel / woodruff key ?
  10. I was going to suggest a XT / TT 600, decent suspension, and quite good off road if you move the footrests back. Still quite a long way down to earth though. All sorts of weird & wonderful parts available from Touratech.
  11. Unfortunately a bit to far for me to travel, but this is exactly the sort of information required to attract riders to an event they haven't ridden before and not sure if suitable .

  13. Yes, I was on the SWM, thoroughly enjoyed the 2 day, had forgotten about the most excellent sandwich van, that's breakfast sorted. See you there. Ross

  18. Can anyone tell me what classes are running in this trial ? Pre 65, Twin Shock, Air Cooled Mono ? And are any of these pulling a number of entries ? Thanks Ross

Check the width of the rim before you order the rim lock as they come in two sizes, should be marked on the side , probably 1.85. Ross You can get them here http://www.trialsbits.co.uk/index.php?cPath=94_166
  20. This might be a more realistic/possible challenge :-
  21. b40rt replied to mur's topic in Bultaco
Two is standard these days, no problem to fit another one, usually about 120 degrees between each rim lock and valve. Look carefully before you drill the rim that it's not at the joint, and also that you will have enough space to get a spanner/socket on the nut.
