Not the first time the time limit has been scrapped at the lakes and only "selected" riders were told. I fell foul of this once and rushed round like a lunatic to finish with a couple of minutes to spare, having asked for fives at a load of sections. I was furious as the riders "in the know" just took their time and rode all the sections without worry. I think it depends if you're in the "clique" or not.

I think those falcon shocks are supposed to work the other way up, the schraeder valves being at the top. Although i stand to be corrected here.

Have you changed the trigger coil? This is very often the culprit.

Ha Ha Sparky, all that effort and "sportsmanship" and we both got done over! Still a great fun weekend though, it's Honda power from now on for me.

It's a 13 year old bike, could be anything to be honest. Almost impossible to diagnose over the internet.

Whats your budget? Isn't it possible to get something a bit more modern for your money?

What a shame the club decided to ruin the trial by greedily accepting 200 entries on a course which suffers from excessive queing with half that number. Add to that a couple of badly placed sections to create a huge log-jam, and you end up with a half an hour wait just to enter one section. The course simply cannot take such a large number of riders with the sections laid out as they are. Has the trial become a victim of its own success?

Have you tested any of the bikes to see which ones you actually like?

The speedo never worked even when new. IIRC there was a pickup on one of the disc bolts? which triggered a sensor on the fork leg (i seem to remember, bit hazy now!) Like i said, never worked anyway.

Make sure you beat him at the next trial. Trials is 90% rider input, 10% bike. He'll feel embarrassed & inadequate when he loses to you.

Isn't comp 2 plus a synthetic BASED oil? If so, do not use it, only use a FULLY SYNTHETIC oil.

Is it a gas gas pro? Wasn't the contact model discontinued a long time before 2005?.
