Try riding the same section on different bikes, you'll soon know whether its you or your bike thats the problem! As mentioned above, the raga probably is the last bike you want to start trials riding.

Alan-nc, that helmet must be at least 20 years old, possibly more. There's no way i would trust my head with that contraption, thats the most ridiculous cost cutting exercise i've seen in a long while. Seriously, are you going to trust your head with that?

i've had them welded up before with good results, just need some careful filing afterwards to smooth it out.

Splatshop do exchange rewound stators if you need one a bit quicker. They are very helpful too.

Sounds like a '94 jt 25 if it has conventional forks. The "93" in the frame number would be the date of frame manufacture, usually at the end of the previous year.

The TXT model didn't appear until about 1999, do you have the frame no. or a picture so we can establish exactly what you have?
